ONLY PUT TWO STARS FOR ONE REASON:
Everything was great and quick until the employee dealing with financial AID in to talk about insurance. Being 20 and having to come to the ER alone sick as a dog for the first time made of difficult to remember information. The woman was impatient and seems to become frustrated within seconds of entering the room. I wish I got her name, her attitude was awful.
    Everything else was great .

I had to be transported to Chandler Regional after being hit on foot by a car. That did a cat scan and then put me in a room in ER for 8 hours before moving me up to a room. My nurse finally said this is ridiculous they can’t get a room cleaned up there quicker so we can get you comfortable. I wasn’t going anywhere since my surgery kept getting pushed back. So I had to spend two nights there. I felt sorry for some of the nurses. When I went in to the OR and get ready for the surgery I laid there for approximately 20 minutes before someone came to start the process. I was getting so upset by this time. Just an unexceptable and inexcusable experience altogether.

Completely incompetent and unprofessional. A doctor from this facility called me and left a voicemail, trying to reach my step dad regarding my mom. He had the wrong number. When I called back, of course the doctor wasn't in. The lady who answered was rude, said she would transfer me to the nurse, and then hung up on me. When I called back right away, she didn't even apologize, instead said "[I] wasn't hung up on, the phone just got disconnected while she was handing it over to the nurse." Wow. She then threw some random other doctor in the middle of it and made him deal with it, and it was like pulling teeth getting any information out of them regarding the health and safety of my mother, and I was rushed off the phone with no reassurance of any resolution. I still don't know what the status of my mother is or why she was in the emergency room. Horrible way to raise alarms and make people worry. I'll make sure my mother and family never visit this facility again under any circumstances.

I would not recommend this hospital to anyone . I went into the ER due to chest pains , I had originally went to urgent care who did an X Ray they found some sort of haze in my left lung . They then told me to go to the hospital to do further test , then they gave me the report and the X Ray to give to the doctors at the hospital. When I get to the hospital the staff was rude, the doctor I saw was horrible He said he's not sure why they sent me to the hospital that it was a waste of my time , he didn't want to even look at the X Ray and just read the report and told me I have Pneumonia . I had no fever ,no cough , no loss of appetite, no fatigue and no other symptoms of pneumonia besides chest pains . I told him I felt that I didn't have pneumonia because I've had it before and this is nothing like what I had before . I asked him if there's any test we can do that will show that I have pneumonia .he had no sympathy towards my concerns. He then asked me what exactly I wanted him to do , he stated there was no test that can be done to show I have it . He did not even take blood work . He didn't look at my X Ray. I would give this place 0 stars if I could .

I came to emergency a few days ago. The admitting and registration staff was outstanding. I expected to wait hours for tests performed and results. To my surprise everything was completed in a timely manner. I was placed in the overflow unit. I was amazed. The unit was neat and i would not have known the difference. While in the overflow unit i had many nurses and they were great. Justin, a nurse, was so great. After surgery i was a bit loopy but i was told he was entertained. This was not my first choice but will be from now on.

My father was taken by ambulance to Chandler Regional after I found him lying on the floor vomiting and unable to stand when I drove up to his home to visit him. While the ER staff were mostly courteous (sometimes brusque but never rude), some of their care choices were baffling. They diagnosed my father with an acute urinary tract infection and dehydration, but then they proceeded to mark his chart as not being allowed water or anything else to drink, and they did not give him IV fluids. He sat with nothing to drink or relieve his dehydration for seven hours in the ER while waiting to be transferred to his room in the main part of the hospital. I wouldn't have even known this happened if his nurses upstairs hadn't mentioned it when doing a debrief in our room during their shift change. Not really the quality of emergency care I was hoping for my father. No complaints about the nurses upstairs though. They seemed knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to his needs. But I would suggest to those who bring a family member or themselves in to this ER to watch their doctors carefully and question anything that makes no sense. Do not instantly trust that because they are a medical professional that they are alert and making the best care choices for you or your loved ones.

Just wanted to say that this hospital visit was by far the best one I have ever experienced! From janitorial staff all the way up to the physicians, everyone I came in contact with was so polite and wonderful! I will definitely be returning to this hospital (despite the distance from my home) should I need any immediate medical treatment. Chandler Regional Medical Center is absolutely an amazing facility and always clean and unremarkable. Thanks for all that you did for me, Doctors nurses and med tech staff you guys were great!

Hello, just dropping a quick review to show my appreciation to Veronica Munoz who works in the eligibility office by the ER windows. Although, she was extremely busy and due at a departmental meeting, she took the time to assist me with my questions and walked me through a time consuming process. She showed compassion and empathy towards an already deflated and ill individual which in my book is the most outstanding customer service a patient can receive. Chandler Regional Medical Center is fortunate to have an asset like Veronica on their team. Kind Regards, Mrs. Fairweather.

I was extremely happy. I was treated with respect, nurses remembered me (my daughter was in the special care unit, and nurses who cared for me while upstairs after giving birth, would come down to the special care unit for some shifts and would recognize me and ask how I was, stay and chat, etc.). My daughter was treated well, the bed was comfortable, great TV options, wonderful room and the food is GREAT.

After falling at hone and attempting to treat the shoulder pains and severe headache I experienced I went to Urgent Care and was referred to Chandler Regional from the urgent care for care that the urgent Care felt was and necessary based on my symptoms and exam. The ER physician expressed his disagreement that I did not need to be there. His delivery was less than comforting. After the CAT scan, he felt I did not need, I was admitted based on my medical history of 3 surgical procedures to my brain. I did not want to be admitted, but wanted to go home. Tearfully I was admitted. I was moved to Room A318 the neurology floor where, after my encounter with the ER doctor my faith was restored in the medical staff. Now I want to be fair because I lost count of the many stroke and trauma situations they had, so I know they were on overload. However I was blessed to be cared by first Breanna who was attentive sweet and caring. Then the day nurse Diana took over and was as thorough, caring and addressed all needs. I am never demanding and hesitate to ask for help. With this staff of nurses, some names I can't remember, I was treated respectfully and they insisted I not hesitate to call if I had a need, including the head nurse. Thank you Chandler Regional for having a staff that compliments and exemplifies your desire to provide a package of complete medical and emotional care for all seeking your care, even under the pressure of so many real emergencies. Thank you Diana for being so thorough and caring and thank you Breanna for making my encounter after the ER a breath of fresh air in my emotional state. May God continue to bless you with a heart of love for your profession.

If you are planing to give birth here please reconsider. I had no say at all in the birth of my son and felt the right of my body were taking away. I was a low risk birth yet I was still strapped at bed with an IV. I wanted to have a natural birth so bad. They took that away from me. I was not aloud to walk or use a birthing ball. I had to lay on my side in the same position in bed so the heart monitor around my stomach wouldn't move. The doctor never told me anything that was going on or what they were doing to my body. I was scared and still cry thinking about the whole thing. The after care is just as bad. We paid in cash for my son to be circumcised and the money seemed all the doctor cared about. She grabbed it from my husbands hands and left the room without a word. We didn't know when it would be done or get a receipt til hours later. We asked when it could be done and was told by the rude nurse that it was whenever she has time. The I was told not to feed my baby for the procedures and hours went by of him hungry. Yet no one came in to get him for the procedure. Only when we were in the middle of newborn pics did she demand my son. I never got to finish the picture becuase she told it was now or never. The whole time I cried. I felt like the doctor and nurse were going to hurt my son. Please don't go here. The nurses are rude and doctors are horrible. Your treated as if your trash and no say on your experience. I will never give birth in a hospitals again because of my experience here.
