Very nice. Perfect location. Clean rooms. Good value for the being right on the beach. Will definitely visit again. All restaurants are within walking distance. Jake's is next door.

So I booked a room through Orbitz. Only to find out that they discriminate against single moms sleeping with 2 small kids in a king size bed. The manager was available to send me an email, but 5 minutes later was not available to take my phone call. Jorge the front desk attendant refused to allow me to speak with management. After 3 attempts. 3. Yes 3 attempts to speak with management I was hung up on. Now I'm reading reviews about bed bugs. Don't have the money back into my account to book a reputable hotel. Thank you!?

Yes Motel type accommodation at nearly $200. USD night but you are on Del Mar beach after all. Shares parking lot with Posieden Rest. and for some silly reason the Valet dudes use the remote keys to identify which car is which so at end of night its quite noisy with car horns. Quaint town a few blocks away with essentials and restaurants.

We had a quaint room that resembles what I imagine New England cottage decor TRULY is. Very classy. We watched high tide give way to eventual low tide from the deck behind glass. A couple OUTSTANDING restaurants right next door too!

A very friendly desk clerk, and our room was ready early so we were able to check in early too. Most hotels/motels dont even allow that.

I am very pleased with it. Clean, comfy, spacious, and RIGHT ON the beach. And the price was right. Would like to have had a hot tub, but

I had a very interesting experience here, the internet and the heater didn't work on the first two nights and we had to move to another room. We were given a space heater in the other room, and we brought it to the new one thinking we wouldn't need it, but we did because the heater on the wall didn't work there either. Room service was really backed up the first 2 days and they didn't do our room until after 1pm. The guy at the front desk, was very nice he went out of his way to be nice, I needed some blankets and he brought it to my room, and I asked for plastic silverware and he gave me the ones he brought from his house, which was super sweet.

Great service and location. We wanted to spend some more time at the beach so they let us borrow some chairs and extended our parking even after we checked out!

So my girlfriend and I stayed there on Oct 6th and checked Oct 7th. We both grew up in Del Mar and had always wanted to stay there. On Saturday when I got home and to urgent care the doctor counted 33 BED BUG BITES on my body. When I called the hotel to let them know what had happened so it didn't happen to anyone else, they assumed I was trying to get something free from them and denied it wholeheartedly. Now I don't own a hotel, but if anyone so much as mentioned bed bugs after staying at my establishment I would be doing anything in my power to make them happy and at the very least apologize. Very disappointing response from somewhere I had always wanted to say. I really didn't expect much since it's a "motel" but for $199+ a night, I at least expected clean sheets and good customer service. If I could give this place lower than 1 star I would. DO NOT GO HERE.

Also when we checked in, we asked about parking. The extremely rude receptionist spoke down to us. She asked "what kind of car?" I replied with black BMW. She then asked, what number? I responded with, "Ummmm what do you mean, what number?" "what number is your car?!?!?" (She meant model number lol) eventually I figured it out and responded with 328 but not sure why she just didn't ask what model. either way, the experience here was beyond terrible.

Checked in with my boyfriend the 6th, checked out the 7th. Rude and unpleasant girl at the front desk. We are both in our late twenties and grew up in Del Mar together and this place was somewhere we were really looking forward to staying in. Too bad we left with him having 33 BED BUG BITES. Counted straight from a medical doctor in urgent care. When we called back to tell the hotel staff they completely denied that they came from the hotel. We stayed out of our own home for a single night! Of course they came from your hotel. Sad part is we never asked these people for anything maybe an apology or acknowledgement? Nope. We wanted them to be aware so this horrific situation doesn't happen to someone else or their family. Also couldn't do anything to get residue sand out of the bed (that was there before us) and one of our shower towels had a brown/gray stain on it. I think it's safe to say won't ever be back.

The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. It was everything I would want from a basic motel room. But it wasn't a basic motel room because when I stepped out my door I was looking at the Pacific ocean. We spent all day playing with the kids on the great beach, then spent the evening watching the ocean from the deck and seeing whales spout water into the air.

Great location on the beach. Very large TVs in the rooms. Good accommodations and even some free beach toy rentals

I've stayed here several times because of it's proximity to the beach. There's limited parking, dirty rooms and a 7 day cancellation policy (be careful if your plans change).

Standard motel upscaled half heartedly. The location right on the beach is the real deal. Right next to lifeguard tower and expensive restaurants. This beach is in one of San Diego's enclaves of affluence. Beware of the Del Mar parking enforcers, they are fascists.
