Wonderfully helpful and polite staff. Super fresh breakfast is available. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The only thing, as a suggestion, is that the pool and hot tub stay open until midnight for a quiet dip. It would've been wonderful to get back after long days working and relax for a bit. By the time I ran and got my trunks on, it was closing time and we were refused entry.
All in all, we look forward to returning there shortly!
Overall nice hotel for area and price point. 3 nights seemed to be just fine. Breakfast was good, but no fresh eggs; as in 2 eggs over easy. only had scrambled or omelets.
Quick egg slurry is probably appropriate, but it is good to have fresh eggs for over easy or just having fresh eggs.
Potatoes had a strange flavor, did not want to push envelope. was not hash browns, but potato cubes.
The hotel and service were great but the thing that stood out the most to us was just how ADA the wheelchair accessible rooms were. It was an absolute delight to have all the ADA amenities in the room as well as in the pool and Jacuzzi. Because of the lifts they had in place my brother was able to get into a Jacuzzi for the first time! I wish there were photos of the ADA amenities offered they were not on the site at the hotel we stayed at. I want the ADA community to know how wonderful and accommodating these hotels are!
The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the lobby is inviting. The rooms are very spacious and a welcomed change from more up to date hotels. My room was on the east side of the hotel near the front of the building and it was somewhat noisy from the nearby highway, so an inside room or west side away from the road would be a better option. Breakfast was wonderful - made to order omelettes by a very friendly chef. I only wish they would have plain yogurt in addition to the sugar filled varieties. I didn't try the oatmeal but it, too looked inviting.
Service was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent; all fresh products and cooked to perfection. We will definitely stay there again. The reception in the evening was an added bonus for us. This was business and hard work, so to relax in the hotel was very special. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. I really like how you separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom. The use of the computer was very important to me and your staff made it very easy by providing paper for the printer and just being so cooperative. I got the job done.
No major complaints. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom light is not bright enough. The room had an odd odor, maybe it was the cleaning products. Breakfast was good enough. Did not participate in happy hour.
What a wonderful stay we had at the Ayres in Redlands! We had several family members and friends in town for a family wedding, and we all stayed at the same hotel. We were only one of several wedding parties that were all apparently there on the same weekend. The staff couldn't have been better, and the property is beautiful. We had an issue with the television in our room and the gentleman at the Front Desk came to try and resolve it immediately. When he couldn't, he immediately offered to switch us to another room, but we declined, since we didn't anticipate being in the room enough over the weekend to worry about watching TV. The breakfast was decent. Egg dishes made to order, along with either bacon or sausage and potatoes. Oatmeal was only instant, along with a few other cold cereals. A small area with yogurts and fruit. A variety of toast options. Bath towels could have been better - size was ok, but they were coarse. Overall, I would absolutely stay at the Redlands Ayres again, and would most definitely recommend it to friends going to that area.
This hotel was fantastic. First time west coast and I felt welcome. The friendly Ayers family hosted our family for my brother's wedding. Chef Pedro thanks for the delicious breakfast. Miss Laura and Miss Gloria thank you for the friendly conversation and good laughs. I will definitely return when I come west
Overall the rooms were clean and very spacious. All of the staff were extremely friendly. My room was upstairs on the outside and I found the location of the elevator and the stairs not to be very accommodating. We were traveling with my 18 month old grandson so we have lots of bags and things. It was difficult to get to our room because of the location of the stairs and elevator. It was a very long trek back and forth. Elevators on both sides would have been helpful or a staircase on the east outside of the building would have been helpful. Again everything else was perfect.
I really had never heard of Ayres hotel before. i must say I was pleasantly surprised though. The rooms were clean and spacious with all the regular amenities you would expect. There was a great breakfast freshly cooked in the morning. The only thing that could have been better was the bed. All in all a very nice stay.
The stay was wonderful. Employees were very helpful, kind and friendly. Pool was great, and the room was clean and comfy. I would stay again. We had many family and friends stay with us for the night after my daughters wedding. We had a great stay. looking forward to have a reason to stay again.
I really liked Ayres hotel. Since my first step in the lobby I felt comfortable already. The room was excellent, clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and people around there very friendly. I will definitely stay here in my next visit.
The room and pool were excellent. Staff were very efficient and the cleaning staff particularly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good too. The front desk staff were amazing about getting my laptop back to me after I left it in the room. I can't speak highly enough of them! Only 2 minor things that I would comment on: the coffee at breakfast was not so great (next time we'll bring Starbucks VIA) and there was no half-and-half, and there was some sort of soccer tournament on in Redlands so the hotel was full of kids. We could not get to the pool or fitness center for bodies. I understand though that the hotel can't turn down reservations just because they include kids, but it was a bummer. We will be back though!
I love your hotel chain. Every time we stay there we have no problems. The rooms are always clean and very spacious. The free breakfast is also very good. If were in the area we always seek out the Ayres Hotel chain. Ah you need to do is give out your wonderful cookies seven days instead of only five days.
