Stay away from this place! Dirty and old. The only good thing was the location!
Arrived late and still had to wait for over an hour in the lobby before we were able to get our room. Room was small and definitely did not have an ocean view. All we saw was the dirty areas around the building and pool. Definitely look elsewhere if you want a good breakfast. Only cereal, yogurt, and toast were offered.
I loved this hotel so much I didn’t want to leave. In fact, I planned another trip to the city just to stay there! It’s absolutely beautiful and the entire staff was amazing. We did not encounter a single person who didn’t greet us with a smile or go out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. I love the location because it’s out of the bustle of uptown but still close to many beautiful sites. I cannot wait to spend another 3 days there in December. The Grand rooms are incredibly spacious and well appointed. Cannot say enough about my new favorite hotel.
This is a great little hotel right off the beach. Close to everything. Small but nice rooms with a fridge and microwave. Friendly staff. Laid back hotel that's nothing fancy but truly a hidden gem. Especially if you like the art deco vibe.
The rooms were slightly below average. Not very clean, big or up-to-day, but the location was very good. The staff was nice and helpful other than one member but the customer service of the others made up for it. The breakfast was terrible and there was no drinking fountains or water available (other than vending machine). Also, you have to find and pay for your own parking (Lot next to hotel is $1 hour). Overalld not bad but not great. I liked being in a less busy area of Miami walking distance to the beach.
The hotel is trying to attract customers by the low price. The room was quite clean, the bathroom could use some improvement. Wifi was quite good. The pool does not seem to be maintained at all and we did not see anyone using it. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is located a bit further from the majority of big hotels and whole area seems to be a less desirable. Positive is the beach which is right across the street. Parking is on the public street only which needs to be paid for between 8 AM to 6 PM. I've booked the room with ocean view and that's what I've got through a small window on the side of the hotel. Free "continental" breakfast is a joke, barely similar to what you could find in the cheapest hostel. We had spent extra money to have breakfast in other places.
My family went on a cruise and we were going to stay there overnight and fly out the next morning. We were unable to stay there. The hotel itself was in ill repair. There are stains on the furniture in the lobby. The elevator felt like a death trapit was rough and moved sluggishly. In the room there were stains on the comforters and sticky substance on the furniture and the walls. The bathroom was small and poorly constructed and maintained. You cannot even close the bathroom door while on the toilet. I want to be clearI am not some snooty guy that needs perfection, but if I'm paying for a room, then I think it's reasonable to expect a certain level of hospitality. In addition, I am not a negative person, nor a troll, this is, in fact the first negative review I have ever wrote. All I can tell is that it was bad. We left without getting any money back and stayed at a hotel near the airport I found on Expedia.
My husband and I came here for an anniversary trip. Our first room had two double beds. When I went to talk to Patrick at the front desk and explained that we would prefer a room with one king or queen bed, he immediately changed our room to one with a king bed and ocean front. He was also very suggestive when it came to where to park and such. The staff was friendly. We loved the fact that this hotel was quiet and super close to the beach. It's in a great location, especially with lots of good restaurants and shops all within walking distance. We really appreciated the fact that you could rent beach chairs ( comes in handy when being on the beach all day!) our only concern was the elevator took a long time!!! If you are looking for a quieter Miami experience, then this is a go to! Honestly we didn't even spend much time in the hotel as we were too busy exploring the city. South beach isn't too far either, which makes for a great day!
Our visit was greatjust what we wanted. Peace and quiet!! Small quaint hotel. If you are looking for fancy and bells and whistles this isn't the place for you, but the vibe takes you back to the 50's era. We loved it
The price says it all. This is more like a motel than a hotel. If your coming to Miami and don't have a lot of money to spend on fancy $200+ Hotel than this is the way to go or if you have lots planned and only need a place to crash this is spot.
Pros: right on the beach and the hotel provides beach chairs/ towels. Stores and food places around and even have a market around the corner. The main strip to south beach is right around the corner just hand a left and it will take you right there.
They have a bar/ restaurant down stairs that has decent food and happy hour specials twice a day.
Con: This is a outdated motel not a hotel. I've stayed in nicer 2 star hotel right of the highway middle of no where. Rooms are small beds are outdated. I booked a ocean view room. This means you can partially see the ocean. We were moved to a ocean front facing the ocean after we complain. PARKING!!!
Originally we booked this hotel because of the price next to beach and FREE parking. Just like the ocean view and front vie they're not clear on the meaning
Parking after 6pm is free from 8am to 6pm it's public parking and you have to pay $1 dollar a hour. Considering this is Miami not bad but we found out after we checked in.
Overall this isn't super bad but like I said if your looking for fancy this isn't the place. If your looking to be in Miami on a budget or not spent a lot of Money on hotels then this is a good.
Me and my husband just visited Miami Beach last week, we stayed at Days Inn due to it being right on the ocean for an unbeatable price! We had a King Size Ocean View room. The rooms were clean, and cool. The bathroom was newly updated with a stand up stone shower. I was highly impressed. Everyone at the hotel was beyond friendly and did anything I asked of them. They give you beach chairs and towels, the facility had washing machines, vending and Pac Man. I will DEFINITELY return here. The ONLY problems that we had were 1.) the elevator was really really slow and 2.) the ice machine was on the ground floorbut other than that there was absolutely no problems at all. Had an absolute BLAST!
I am currently staying here at this hotel and have before I'm the past. It's an awesome price with an even amazing location! Walking distance to everywhere, the beach, stores, banks, and restaurants. The hotel is outdated and old but the beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The staff of very helpful and kind. The free breakfast is just basic continental but it isn't too bad. Overall I will continue to come and stay at this hotel for as long as I come to visit Miami!
