The room was dirty. Used tissues on the floor. Used and almost empty water bottles on the freezer. Mold in the A/C. The bed was wet. Generally the whole building and room smells moldy.

This is a garbage hotel for the desperate.
Mold. Zero building security. Dirty counters with dried mystery liquids. Cigarrette-burned sheets. Broken blinds that were askew as if there had been a fight in there minutes before we walked in. I'm no princess- the trucker motel with no heat that I stayed at in Romania was nicer than this hotel.
We were booked in the Ocean Surf Hotel next door (which is not nice either), but they screwed up our reservation and we got placed here. We stayed here only because we were too tired to rebook elsewhere immediately but we sure did the next morning. The owners should be ashamed of what they've done to this property, it is steps away from the ocean and could have been so fantastic.response / report this review -

All these people bitching about this hotel are not looking for the baragin that it is What do you expect for about $80/night and right on the beach? It's a bed people! Maybe you should head down to SoBe and pay $300/night to get your over-priced umbrella drink. By way the Days Inn next door has a nice bar with outside seating minutes the SoBe crowd and traffic
When you're looking for a cheap room, you shouldn't be so critical, you're just looking for a room to get the "job done". And this hotel gets the job done, a bed and a shower after a day's swim! Relative speaking, you get what you pay forand for the price and location, you get a lot!!!! Be fair and compare apples with apples!! When we arrived, the front desk was very polite. Expedia made a mistake with our reservation and gave us one bed instead of two. The girl at the front desk was very nice and changed it to two beds right away, without any extra charge. Our room was very nice and clean, a lot of towels were provided. If we ever needed any extra towels or toilet paper or anything like that, they provided us with it right away. Breakfast was a nice simple healthy meal. The location of the hotel is AMAZING! Literally a few steps from the beach. You can see the sand from the window! I gave 5 stars because for the price we payed, it was much better than we ever would of imagined.

Worst hotel ever Do not get scam, they show great pictures online, which are fake this hotel is nasty for the price they charge I booked two days and they charged me more than one day even when I cancelled the reservation please do not book with them unless you want a very bad stay I had to come to Best Western which I highly recommend, the rate was high but I talked to the manager (without knowing he was the manager) and he reduced the price about 40% I am so glad I found this one In addition to all the bad things about Hawaii Hotel, is it very hard to find where to park you car, so be willing to spend some more buck on that if you want to leave your car in a safe parking

My boyfriend, my best friend and myself traveled to Miami Beach this weekend and we stayed at the Miami Hotel. We are 22 and from the Tampa bay area. The location of this hotel is amazing! Directly across the street from the beach. There is a nice beach sidewalk that when followed down we discovered a huge dune that you could climb on! Its a 2 minute walk to drugstores and a variety of food and touristy shops. It was the ideal location. Bus stops were close too! The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast served in the lobby every morning was good. Fruit, toast, muffins, cereal, coffee and OJ. It was perfect for us. The lobby has wifi and seating. They had a nice terrace that overlooked the beach which was nice.
The room wasn't perfect but I was expecting much worse. The beds were comfortable. The sheets were clean. It was a comfortable size. Sometimes you could hear people walking in the hallway but for the most part it was peaceful.
The room smelled like mildew, however I noticed that was normal in most places along Miami Beach.
There were little things that could have been improved but the price is unbeatable. Seriously. LOCATION!!
I would stay here again in the future.response / report this review
