Lived on the island for a few years now. Finally got around to trying DIG. It was basically mediocre. The wings came out with very little sauce on them. We asked for more sauce, since ours were naked, and were charged $1. They also came out cold. We also had the mozzarella sticks and a hot dog meal. Everything tasted like it has been in a freezer for a long time. Save your money and go somewhere else. Very disappointed in this place.

Food and prices reflect the area. Salsa is fantastic. Good place to stop in for lunch.

They have beer, food and locals. They’re great about having all the NFL football games on and they’re easy to see. I’m a fan of the ribs and Cajun chicken pasta dish. Dog friendly outside and decent view of the pond. Fun place overall.

The food and drinks were GREAT.service.not so much. Sat over 15 minutes with NO acknowledgment from a server, so we asked the hostess what was going on. Only THEN did a server greet usand it happened to be a server who passed our table 3-4 times since we were seated. I had to ask 3 times for my drink. The inside was too hot so we asked to be moved outside since a large group had just leftthe hostess tells us its up to our server so we ask the server who tells us its up to the hostess.at this point I was ready to leave, but my bf covinced me to stay. We FINALLY got a seat outside and enjoyed our meal. Needless to say I didn't tip wellwhich is unusual for me. I would like to give this place another try simply because the food was AMAZING.I hope the service will be better next time.considering what the prices are here.

Gave my daughter the wrong flavor of wings and when it was mentioned they didn't apologize or say "oh I must have misunderstood her" or anything. Never brought the boxes we asked for. Completely forgot one of our party's order. Not a great experience. Sad since it was our first and none of us will be back.

Been there a few times. On the best visit the food was mediocre. The last time i couldn't even eat it. The place was a hot mess, the staff were running around unpreparedand it looked as though they had never served lunch before. The manager did take the food off my billand i appreciate that, but i'm just not sure i need to go back

The Angus burger I had was so good!! The bun comes stamped/branded with the logo. The meat was warm and juicy and very flavorful. The carmelized onions were perfectly done and the cheese perfectly melted. We also had mozzarella sticks -- excellent!

I must say I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. We spent the entire hour waiting on food to arrive. Customer that's arrived after us were able to get there food in a timely manner, except my group. Also apparently the id policy is only enforced whenever the owner sees fit. The sodas where flat as well. Being as we were the only group of minorities at the establishment I find it hard to believe that my colleague was the only one with a weathered identification in the establishment. I will not be spending my money at this establishment and I will spread the word to my place of employment as well.

At first the food was awesome, and the service was awesome! When we went to pay the check was for $68 and some change. My husband wasn't thinking clearly and put $69 in the folder anf gave it back to our waitrest and said keep the change. He was planing on leaving her a tip on the table. Our waitress came to out table to clarify, she said," You said keep the change but there is only 27 cents left is that right?" My husband not thinking said yes. She walks away. Our table looks at my husband and says what are you doing? Do you know how that looks? He said," It's fine she will see the tip when she comes back by." $8 tip is on the table now. She never comes back, however the manager comes back telling us his waitress is crying in the back and cant come out because she is so upset. We quickly apologize, and are completely embarrassed. We show him the $8 tip on the table and continue to apologize. He keeps talking about how upset she is and how she has just lost it. Points to me and says, "You know how you women are." We continue to apologize and he leaves taking the tip to take to our waitress. We are now waiting on two people in the bathroom before we leave feeling terrible our waitress who did a wonderful job is crying.We hear and see the manager tell the staff in the back what he has done. We hear our waitress laughing saying, " What! Why did you say that? I cant believe you said that!" Then, the rest of the staff realised we were still in the restaurant and starts shushing everyone. For me this would have been difdrrent if he came over and asked if something was wrong with our meal or serivce, instead he made up lies and was very degrading.

I was a dish washer here at DIG for the past few months. Was just fired today do to the fact that I posted a review the other day about how nasty their kitchen is. This kitchen is infested with roaches and bugs the walk ins and the freezer also has cock roaches in it. Bugs crawling all around the wall in the boxes of burger buns and on the knifes and utensils that we use to cook the food that we serve to the public. Rats run in and out of the kitchen also in the freezer In back. Also management had me drive all the way from my house in summerville to Daniel Island just to tell me I am fired. (Very Poor Management ) I was told to pick up food for an event and when I went to pick up stuff in my car I picked up a box of buns and roaches crawled out from all directions.
Do not spend your hard earned money on this disgusting bug infested restraunt. OSHA and BBC will be contacted and these issues will not go unnoticedresponse / report this review -

Ordered D.I.G. for lunch today and was honestly pretty disappointed. I had a cuban sandwich w/ fries, but the fries were soggy and the sandwich was very dry and tough to eat. Two stars because i'm not heartless.

My girlfriend and I decided to try out DIG last Friday on 3/17/17 despite some of the the things we've heard about it. Now being in the service industry I can cut a lot of slack and be understanding but I couldn't give our bartender any of that that day. The older bartender with the purple in her hair was rude to us from the beginning. She ignored us for awhile and when she finally came back to get our drink orders then returned with the drinks they weren't even made properly. Now for someone who says they've been in the Industry for a while (and looks like it) you would think they would get the drinks right. Again understanding that it was busy and things happen but she was just over all unacceptable down to her service and drinks, she even stormed off when we tried to talk to her about Getting new drinks. The only highlight to the visit is when she left the other bartender the younger one with the lighter hair took very good care of us and was super sweet. We might me back but probably won't after that.
