Stayed here during the OU/Texas football game weekend. Not a good choice. Loud and doors slamming all night. Security just said we had to deal with. Understandable. Horrible planning on our part.

What is the purpose of a large metal planter through the center of your dining area? Imagine, if you will, an 18 inch tall metal apparatus that snakes through a food court Yeah, I miffed it face first when not paying attention (that's on me), but why exist at all? Aside from that Fine establishment.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
Arrived for a seminar in one of the conference rooms. Enjoyed some time in the lounge with other guests as well. Real nice facility. All staff members were very friendly and responded promptly to questions and requests. I would recommend to anyone with business in the downtown area.response / report this review -

The hotel was really nice, well decorated and taken care of, both in the lobby and hotel rooms. The front desk staff were excellent and friendly. Our issues came in with housekeeping knocking on our doors when we have both the do not disturb sign and no cleaning sign on the door. Along with our amenities requests (soaps/towels/etc) didn't show up once with the quantity we requested.

Originally had a good impression but. Checked out and realized I left a shirt in the room. Went back 2 hours later and they couldn't find someone to check the room. They took down my number and said they would call but they never followed up.
Didn't think I would have liked it based on pictures but it's really a nice place. If you have gold or Platinum status there is a special lounge with really good food and snack selection. Better than others Marriott brands I've stayed at.response / report this review -

Nice hotel. Quite busy at times. Central location. So much construction and traffic better to stay away from Dallas city center all together.

Okay the beds are amazing. But the building is clearly dated. The AC isn't great - and it's really loud. The bathrooms have no vent so they become a sauna. TVs are super nice though.

Great location, right in the city center, half block away from public transportation (all the train lines) and next to a very complete shopping mall. The room was really comfortable, bed and pillows were great as well as the bathtub. The service was really good too. Felt like staying in a luxurious hotel.

I love staying at the Marriott city center. It's got one of the best concierge lounges of any Marriott I've stayed at and a well above average gym. Further, I had a problem with my reservation this stay (my fault, not the hotels), but Aaron helped me sort it out without hesitation.

Valet staff met us warmly. Placards for directions to our function were visible ans easy to follow. Facilities were more than adequate. When leaving, a small extra cost was incurred by front desk when they did not determine which event we were attending, thus charging the regular valet parking fee.

Was looking for a quick lunch downtown on a Sunday. Not many options around so I went to the Marriott. Had some soup and a beer. It was quick, but I actually got a different beer then the one I ordered. Overall good though.

Rooms are huge and I love them. The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom sink (too high and not configured right) and the view from my window. Construction was not complete during our stay. Smells a little old on the lobby but the rooms are amazing!response / report this review -

The Marriot was a great hotel. Lovely staff, always willing to help. The elevators were unique yet great and simple. The room was exactly as advertised, no surprises there. The decor was modern and sleek, the rooms nice and tidy. Would highly recommend.
