This is my favorite place in wichita to eat. Its kind of a small place and they are usually busy but the food is great.

The alligator here is always fresh and hot, and the special Cajun sauce is to die for. The fried okra is just the right amount of crunchy, the fries are a little soggy, so I would request them to be fried a little longer if that's how you like them, and the chicken tenders are very juicy and tender Just like the alligator bites! :) 5/5 for some decent Cajun food.

I’ve never in my life wrote a review but today was that bad of an experience. My food came out and then they still forgot to put my kids in. They never got there food mind you I sat there over 20 mins after mine was gone. I repeatedly asked for diet Pepsi for my diabetic son. Then I said never mind on their food because I was already done so they brought me to go drinks and hour later and he brought me a Pepsi after I pacifically over and over and over and said Diet Pepsi. So I asked him what was in that cup my son was drinking out of and he told me Pepsi he thinks . What is 3:13 AM and my son sugar is still high I didn’t get one apology nothing I will never again eat there that was the worst experience of my life .

Don't do it. Customer service is the WORST! The food is really bad as well as the customer service. The pork chops were tough. The dirty rice was cold. The waitress asked did I want her to heat it up in the microwave. Where they do that at? The crawfish etouffee was the only thing that was decent with the fried orka!

Order Da Papaw sampler with a few friends. The food came out quick and piled high with fried favorites. Nice and accommodating service.

I had an issue with the staff right before closing, the owner contacted me with his personal cell phone. Took care of the issue, even offered my girlfriend and I dinner at his place. Very professional and great hospitality from the owner. Definitely will be back.

Great Cajun food, although a little pricy its great if your willing to pay a little more as there really aren't any other cajun spots in Wichita.

YUM! This place is amazing! My family each ordered something different so we could try it all and each dish was GREAT! To top it off the bread pudding was delicious.

I loved the food!!! Read the reviews and went in expecting more of a nicer family restaurant and it's got more of a diner atmosphere which is perfectly fine with me. We got plenty of food, have had two meals from it and still have plenty. The employees are in line with a diner atmosphere. They weren't terribly friendly but seemed happy to help when we asked for something. We ate at a big fancy Cajun restaurant in OKC the night before and I liked Da'Cajun Shack better.
