I've eaten here several times over lunch with people from work. The food and beer are always good, but service is inconsistent. My personal favorite is the Ranch Chicken Pizza, but the Chicken Tenders are also out-of-this-world good… and enough to feed two people! The ONLY drawback that I've personally experienced is that sometimes the 'brewery smell' can be overwhelming. There was one time we actually had to leave because it was making a couple people sick. Other than that, River City Brewing Company is one of my favorite lunch joints in all of downtown Wichita!

Parking along side restaurant. Great salad selection, Fajita Chicken was filling. Nothing beats fresh local beer!

Very cool place to check out and grab a bite to eat. The food is good and they have plenty of craft beer. I prefer the loft upstairs to hangout when the weather is nice.

Very cool old building, fast service at a Monday lunch. Very friendly staff. The food was very good, at first look the menu seems maybe a bit pricey, but when the food comes out there is lots of food there for the money. I had the chicken tenders which cost $10. But there were 4 of them and fries. The four together were about the size of two chicken breasts. Will put this on the do again meals.

Really good beer. Happy hour till 7pm on Thursday
Didn't get around to eating but the Tornado Alley IPA was great, 7% and only $3 a pint. I would put it up there with a Weyerbacher.

Great food! Come hungry because they have large proportions. Friendly staff and great atmosphere! Great location if you are going to the movies they are pretty quick with the food.

Horrible service for a Thursday at 6 and hardly no crowd. We were looking foward to the usual GREAT food and GREAT service! This time though River City YOU blew it! Service was HORRIBLE! You can't expect people to come back with that kind of service and it was multiple snafus!!! Manager on duty never came to our table either! It all played out SUPER bad for our visitors from the U.K.! Thanks River City!

The original Wichita craft brewery. Still a great place to enjoy a meal and good selection of craft beer. Not to miss in the summer months is the wrap-around balcony on the second floor. One of the best places to unwind on a Friday with good friends and good beer. PSA,there is smoking allowed on the balcony, but it doesn't get too bad with a breeze

Great pizza and microbrews! There's usually live music upstairs which can make the downstairs bar/dining area noisy at night. Still, a great atmosphere and a fun place to go.

Wichita's first and possibly best brewery. The food is always fantastic, although I miss a lot of things they've taken off the menu over the years :-(. The beers are almost always great, they used to be a little inconsistent but even that has not been the case in recent years. My only complaint is at times the service is just awful. I mean awful. When it's good, it's great but you never know what you are going to get. That said, it's been much more consistently good over the last year or so. I hope it continues to get better, I love this place. I'll come here for just a beer or two, or just to eat and have no beer.

River City is a great restaurant, one of my favorite places to take people new to Wichita. My husband loves their extensive in-house brew list. I love the great bar food! While meals and drinks are a tad pricey, it's a great environment and a fun place to watch games. The growlers are a great value for the beer lover in your family to keep enjoying River City brews!

This is a great place to try a wide varieties of beers- some are amazing, others lacking. Always experimental, which is appreciated. They are average in overall service, but great for groups that aren't expecting butler-level attendance to your every need. Food ranges from bar food of decent quality to superb entrees that belie the sports bar atmosphere. Very friendly folk that provide fairly fast service. Mid-range prices.
