Great location toward the north end of southbeach. Very nice rooms. Decent pool. Great staff. A wonderful and covenant place to stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel.
I arrived early. My room wasn't avalible but they did everything they could to make me feel comfortable after a long flight from Aus.
The hotel is in a great location if you are wanting to explore south Beach. The room was huge, Very clean and the bathroom was very nice.
Breakfast was fine.
Had a great stay here and when I am back in Miami I will return!!!!response / report this review -

Great location in Miami South Beach. Walking distance to restaurants and clubs. Half a block away from the sand on the beach. Block away from affordable parking on 16th. Fantastic staff. Was given an upgrade to penthouse with balcony and stairs to private part of the roof with jacuzzi. Bar for the drink vouchers was closed after 10pm so manager offered a complimentary bottle of champagne. One of the best hotels I've been in.

Me and my husband stayed there October 21st through the 24th. It was our second time staying there. We use our IHG points and asked to be upgraded. The first night was a Saturday and they couldn't upgrade us then but our second and third night we were upgraded . We enjoyed the roof top private hot tub . Enjoyed South Beach very much. Would definitely recommend and plan on going again next year. Clean rooms air conditioning was great. Slept like a baby wanted to take mattress and pillows home with us.

Only used it for parking, one of the cheaper ones. Service at night is a bit curt and the morning service is polite but I think both don't really know about prepaid parking or how to handle it so be aware. We spoke to the prepaid company and they settled it but still when on vacation you don't want that but no noticeable scratches or changes to the car so it's fine.

This beautiful boutique hotel (aka Z Ocean Hotel/Crowne Plaza Hotel) was a hidden gem. We were in Miami to celebrate my girl's birthday and they (especially Corey the Manager) pulled out all the stops for us. We had a chance to enjoy both the walkout pool view and the penthouse beach view. The rooms are spacious and very elegant. It truly was home away from home! It's located near several restaurants (Havana 1957 - delicious Cuban food), clubs, and Ocean Drive (Miami Beach strip). A bonus was being within walking distance to the beach and having FREE access to chairs/umbrellas. They definitely EXCEEDED my expectations and I can't wait to visit Miami again to stay at this location. #IHGMember

Great staff! The location allows you to easily access South Beach and quickly get to many Miami hotspots. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The patio cafe was the perfect spot for breakfast.

Unimpressed with this hotel. Stayed using a ton of points, secured what was supposed to be a nice suite. Instead, received a dingy corner suite with no outdoor lounge chairs, and a sofa bed which was terribly soft, very old and with springs that poked my back while I slept. Also terrible check-in experience - we specifically requested twice early check-in. While assured of our request being honored, we were made to wait two hours. Concierge who checked us in was very rude and inappropriate with my father. Overall, just not worth staying here, especially for the points used. I called IHG thereafter to complain about the stay; they did NOTHING to rectify this situation - told me the hotel would call me to assist, which they never did. A disaster.

Myself and 2 girlfriends stayed in the Z Ocean hotel for 4 days and it was one of the best out of town stays I've had. This hotel is in the perfect location with the beach almost right across the street. Make sure you book your stay through South Beach Rentals because these people made my stay enjoyable. They were very friendly and professional.

Great experience. The front desk and concierge we're very helpful. They treated us as if we were good friends visiting their city. All of their recommendations we're on point. They even showed us that the default "pin" for showing our location on Uber/Lyft was at the back of the hotel and showed us where to put it instead. The room was great. We are planning on moving out of state soon and, while having dinner, we looked at the cost of flights to make this our go-to R&R. I work in management at an IHG property (I did not tell this to the staff.) and this best IHG property I've ever experienced and I've stayed at a lot! 10/10 Thank you!

We enjoyed the luxurious​ness of our room and the amenities. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were a little confused upon arrival as there was no signage identifying the property as a Crowne Plaza. Beach access was convenient and chairs, umbrella, etc were available to hotel guests at no extra charge.

Z Ocean Hotel provides an excellent experience to their residents. The hotel is very clean, has modern venue and quiet environment. The hotel associates were very profession, responsive and made a strong effort to ensure that my experience at this property was a great one. The location of the hotel very convenient to tons of restaurants, shops, bars and other local hot spots. Overall, my experience at this hotel was excellent and I look forward staying there next time I'm in Miami

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was amazing! I loved my view and everyone was great. I forgot to mention the gummy bears were so good and worth the money. I still have the jar hey came in :)
