Very noisy. You can easily hear the traffic and voices from the nearby rooms/garden. If there is party, you cannot sleep. Rooms are rustic and need renovation. Breakfast is quite basic but sufficient for the day. Courtyard is nice and hotel location perfect. Easy access to the beach. Room includes a right to use beach chair and umbrella.

Love going during Art Basel. Having different installations and works of art in each room is truly a great experience.

2 story boutique hotel in Miami Beach. Hotel hosted a cool art event for Art Basel. Location is central to Miami Beach.

    ZERO! They get five 00000's.
Maria the hotel clerk over the phone was rude rude rude. Maria kept me on hold on not one not two but three separate calls one for 7 min another for 21 minutes and the last she picked up the line and quickly hung up dismissing my call. On the fourth call she raised her tone and hung up on me. I have been trying to make a reservation for my company business trip since 8pm. 3 hours and nothing. Completely and utterly incompetent employee. I dare not even think about the conditions of the hotel.

Disappointing. Most of staff very nice- not their fault . Afternoon girl was a practiced complaint evader and not helpful at all. Only pros are location and size of rooms. Our "kitchenette" had absolutely nothing, not even an ice tray or a cup. No ice in hotel so buy ur own. If you like to primp to go out forget this place- one tiny mirror over sink is ALL. Nothing on walls, no mirrors, art. Kind of a sad little place , note: pics are deceiving.but you get what you pay for, so overall I would give it 2.5 stars

Got to the airport called the front desk for asking about shuttle hours ; they put me on hold for 10 minutes , I hang up & call back 5 times & it looks like they are unavailable to pick up the phone. . Very stressful waiting at the airport to be on someone else’s time.

Firstly the room was so cold we needed to leave the front door and bathroom window open to let some warmth in. Nathan from front desk alerted us to the fact that there wasn't an air-conditioner control in the room. I believe he turned the whole system off as when we returned later it was so hot we couldn't sleep.

Secondly we couldn't take a shower as the shower handle was broken. Nathan tried to fix the problem but it continued. He said that it would be fixed tomorrow when the maintenance person would arrive.

In the morning the maintenance man came but brought a shower head not the handle. He never returned with the correct part.

I spoke to Chris at the front desk who apologised but said he could do nothing.

The air-condiioning combined with no shower and the noise from the room next door where at least an 8 person family were staying made this experience terrible. There is a door that connects the room so there is NO PRIVACY.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. Paola Cordoba promised us our money back and it ended up being a lie and now no one answers our emails. I’m going to file a complaint with the city.

I stayed in this place not by choice. After Irma Hurricane , I didn't have power in my apartment and I was forced to book an hotel using Expedia After make the reservation with another Hotel , the hotel was closed. Expedia had to make arrangements to accommodate me in another hotel. This is were I ended up in Aqua Hotel. 1st , they charged $149 a day to Expedia and I was hoping to receive a great service. I was wrong.
This is a "getto motel", people smoking weed, the building is not sound proof, you could hear a baby crying and people talking . Manager was no where to be found.

Pro: The front desk people were friendly, and the room was decently clean

Cons: Stood there for a girls trip Aug 24-29. First thing first, we were told that our rooms would have a King bed and a futon. The "futon" in one of the rooms was really a regular couch. The second room didn't even have a couch. The front desk lady gave us a twin mattress with messed up wiring. Which we had to help her carry upstairs since she was alone. So one of us ended just placing the mattress directly on the floor to sleep onThe rooms were freezing!!! I mean freezing! Especially room 216. We asked the front desk---which was the only person there that night btw---multiple times to raise the temp. But we froze for the remainder of our stay. There was people leaving their doors open just to get some humidity into the room. It was so bad because the weather outside wasn't hot it was raining all week
Other little things: telephone, tv, didn't workbathroom light kept flickering (creepy) hot tub and pool didn't look too clean.

I only put 2 stars because the staff although not many were nice and because the room was clean.

This is my 2nd visit to Aqua. They have excellent customer service as always. This time my room was not as good as it was my first visit, however they were attentive to any issues I had. I would give them 3.5 stars for this visit. My previous was 4 stars.

I am EXTRMELY disappointed in the staff at Aqua. Because of a family emergency, I had to cancel my trip to Miami after having had been physically on the plane (I had to get off the plane bc of these circumstances). I have tried to call and explain my situation to the manager who is, according to staff, never there. I've called back during the times recommended by other staff members, and I receive one of the following: 1. No answer 2. Put on hold for 15+ minutes 3. Still no manager and 4. No call back or attempt to reach back from manager after having left my contact information multiple times.

I have stayed at Aqua hotel in Miami in the past and never had an issue. Maybe a change in management over the past year is what prompted this major disconnect, lack of communication, and terrible customer service.

Room was clean. Staff didn't know anything. We received no amenities. Water bottles promised not given. Room was freezing no temperature gauge. Hot tub was not hot. No atmosphere on upper or lower deck. Shuttle did not pick us up.. to or from airport as promised. No ice machine and microwave in room. Had to go to main lobby to use microwave. Had to walk 2 blocks to get a soda or water. Promotional free drink on website was not given false advertisement. Not really a boogie chick usually if room is clean but you expect a little concierge and ambiance. hostel next door had more appeal.. food and drinks and water if hadn't been for the hostel we would have died of thirst.
Will never stay here again even if given free.

Ohhhhhh my God thee absolute worst stay ever!!!. The only thing I love about it is that it was near the beach and right in the middle of everything I initially had a junior king suite but when we got to the room the bathroom was horrific and small as hell, The pics online are very deceiving so if you are big on bathrooms please don't stay here because you'll be pissed like we where. The toilet was never cleaned it had a ring around it and when I asked the staff about the suggested a new regular king room because there wasn't anymore suites available. We where told by like our 4th day that they where supposed to move us back to a Jr King Suite but never was once mentioned to us, so they refunded me one day.I will never ever stay in that mess again unless they upgrade it and even then I probably won't

    1. The whole hotel needs a major upgrade the rooms are very outdated. the showers are very old hell the whole hotel is very old .The worst bathrooms ever.
    2. Our room didn't have ac so we had to ask to have it turned on which is ran by staff smh.
    3. The manager was never on duty
    4. The breakfast was terrible..

Overall the experience was terrible. I have never stayed anywhere like that in my life. I was very unhappy and voice my opinion toward the staff.
