This vet office graciously took in an injured squirrel I brought them. Everyone there was so nice and I'm grateful to have a veterinary practice nearby that is willing to help wildlife.

I have been going to this veterinary hospital for years and they have always done a great job. They are very friendly and very helpful and gentle to my pets. They have been in business for as long as I can remember. I would recommend to all my friends.

Saw Dr. Wright with my new puppy and she was great. She answered all my questions no matter how small or stupid. She was very personalable and gave my pup a bill of good health. The front office staff were all great! Very nice and quick. They ooed and awed over my puppy and we both enjoyed it.

I take my two dogs there. It is best to make an appointment ahead, but they are nice about getting us in. They are very quick to check us in and then get us to a room. The most I have waited was 20 min. The veterinarian listens to me and takes care of the problem.

We are beyond happy with this facility. We brought our dog in after our vet told his chronic pain was due to hip dysplasia and he needed surgery that our vet was not comfortable performing. We called and the girl who helped me was empathetic and confident We were given an appointment with Dr. Webb. She was able to see almost immediately that something else was wrong and was VERY thorough in getting to the bottom of it. We left feeling like our dog was well cared for and loved. Dr. Webb had excellent bedside manner and eased my worried mind with care, truth & confidence. Our dog is not out of the woods yet but we are positive he is being given the best care possible for his prognosis.

Zero stars. We brought our dog in to have all the necessary shots/tests updated in order to board our dog. I am not a vet so I don't know ALL the medical terminology, but the horribly belittling front desk workers ( man and woman) assured me it was all done said they are familiar with the kennel's requirements. I go to board my dog for my vacation and GUESS what?! It was not done! They left out a shot. I called to find out what the deal was, absolutely no customer service effort to remedy their mistake! They acted uncaring and shocked that I expected them to do their job. Horrible service go to VET Xpress in Colonial Heights instead, waaay better than this.

My family has used Crater Road Vet for years. All of the office staff and veterinarians are friendly, compassionate and professional. I have taken everything from my own animals to stray animals to Crater and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this establishment.

I haven't personally taken my pets here BC I have a vet I like. This begging said however, I have used this veterinary office for a tabbies clinic. The staff was very friendly at the site I went to. When I lost my tabbies certificate, e staff was very polite and helped me locate the original in the book AND even went as far as to fax a copy to my vet. It helped me save $. I appreciate that! I would recommend this office to someone looking for a good vet, that doesn't have one already.

By far THE BEST ear crop I have ever seen!!! Believe me, you get what you pay for! I have two American Staffordshire Terriers and I have had both of their ear crops done here. They look ABSOLUTELY amazing!! I searched for places that did ear crops in VA and this one was my pick and I'm so happy I chose them! My dogs also get vaccinations done at this vet because their prices are very low compared to up north vet prices. It is an hour and a half drive just for me to get there but that drive is worth it for great results and great people! The staff there are very hard working and busy but they do a great job assisting and answering all questions I have. Thank you to everyone at the office for a wonderful experience!

I love this Veterinary Hospital. I used to take my animals elsewhere; once I brought my dog to Dr. Webb for an emergency my vet could not diagnose, and she solved the problem in one visit, I was hooked. And the girls at the front desk have always been nice and helpful to me in person and on the phone! All of the Vets are great, there are several, so NEVER a problem getting an appointment either.

I have lived here all my life and used many vets in our area in my attempt to help animals in different districts.
Crater Road veterinary hospital has never let me down. I've taken my pets consistently to this hospital for 15 + years.
