I hate this hospital they just charged me to bucks just to look at him and another 40 just to give my poor kitty an antibiotic they didn't even get to the root of the problem. Took him to Powhatan animal hospital an they actually gave me a diagnosis and put him on steroids that same day and he felt more comfortable there. It was a total waste of my 90 dollars and will never go there again. I only had to spend 40 for EVERYTHING at Powhatan animal hospital thank God for them they truly saved my cat and shame on brandermill animal hospital do better!! MONEY HUNGRY AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS

I do not recommend any one to take their animal to this animal hospital. Their technicians are not properly train and make you feel as if they are trying to make any type of dollar off of you. They charged us for pre lab work, claiming i was the one that circled the "i request" but i stated i did not want the pre lab work because it was extra and i knew i had a limited amount of money on me. (for the procedure and his food) While i was telling the receptionist that i should not have to pay for something i know for a fact i did not want nor did i ever circle anything for the vet never once came out to talk to me. The only thing they did was take the food off the bill and still made me pay the 400 dollars for the surgery and extra content i did not ask for. This business then told us we should go to another vet, even though we weren't planning on returning. I fell as if these people are money hungry, and they have no concern about the pets that come in there.

Our dog, Sodus, hurt his paw/leg on a Friday night and on Saturday morning it was worse. I called Brandermill Animal Hospital after calling 3 or 4 other vets that couldn't fit him in. Brandermill said they were booked but could squeeze him in between appointments. The staff was awesome! Dr Wayne was very upfront and honest and said it wouldnt be a wise use of my money to have x-rays done since it looked that it really wasn't broken, just a sprain. Never had a vet consider what would be smarter for me and my wallet as well as taking into consideration my dog. Thank you so much! This will be our permanent vet for sure :)
