I've spent thousands, probably ten's of thousands at Marriott hotels worldwide and for my loyalty I was given the room pictured below. First day back in America and they give me a room with a view of a wall right outside my windowHilton just won my future business, this was the last straw. Marriott, get your act together!
Great expierence. Can't beat the location so close to the water and to liberty station. You can walk almost anywhere. Loved the updated rooms. It a nice room with very comfortable beds, a couch and huge bathroom. My husband and I also enjoyed using the hot tub! We will definitely be back !!
Fine. Slow elevators. Request to not clean room ignored. They changed my door lock without notice so someone wasn’t organized. Rooms were nice but door to bathroom is awkward. I’d rather stay next door at HomePod suites where they have breakfast and happy hour.
The service was great, we got there checked in right away no hastle. The room was super clean. The only problem I can imagine people having is that you can hear the planes pass by , I didn't mind. The restaurants around the hotel were also great. This hotel had a shuttle that took us to our location for a wedding at the Brick. I was very satisfied with my stay here
Great rooms for our overnight stay. When checking in, we were given great recommendations on restaurants within walking distance since we were between flights and needed the walk. Shuttle drivers to and from the airport were very friendly and told us things we could do during our short stay.
Quiet hotel near the airport. Great views. Many restaurants within walking distance. Room was in good condition. Parking costs $14/day.
Amazing hotel! Beautiful on the outside and inside and probably one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. They have a bar, lounge area, Starbucks, and convenience store all inside the hotel. The pool is pretty small, but not super busy and you can have alcohol by the pool. Hotel is right on the harbor, though it is not a sandy beach. The only problem I ran into with my stay is the front desk not really understanding what was going on and ended up charging my card twice. This was taken care of, but not before much confusion and stress and a call up to my room at 10pm.
When staying at the hotel front desk was very friendly and very helpful. When entering the elevator it was hot and muggy and there was no air coming through. The border on the bottom edges of the elevator were tearing off the lights were not coming on in the elevator so you don't know if you're going up or down. When entering in the room the air conditioning was not on it was at 85 degrees in the room took 15 minutes to cool it down. The keys to the room we're not working properly it took over five swipes in the door. When my wife went down to the pool key wasn't working she had to walk all the way around to the front desk to get a new key. Overall was a nice room but not worth $300
A fantastic Marriott located just a short distance from downtown. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice, and the breakfast is delicious. I stayed here for two nights while attending Comic Con and the complimentary shuttle ride to the convention center made it convenient to come and go as I pleased. I highly recommend this Marriott to anyone.
The room is pretty basic but decent and quite clean. There's a gap at our room door though. I think the service and SOP could be better. We took the breakfast package and while the breakfast is quite ok, the procedure on how to "claim" the breakfast changes daily. I'll see what they will say tomorrow since we're still staying for another 2 nights. I'll stay at Courtyard Marriott downtown next time for better front desk and service, slightly better breakfast, and nicer room (and better cleaning as well). Stay here if you need microwave, pool, and water view.
The hotel was fully booked, but the service was still very good. Dinner at the Bistro and breakfast at the Lounge was fantastic. Rooms were well maintained and we found no issues with those. FYI, the second and third floor halls felt like there was no AC though, but that could be because the days were warm and the nights were cool.
Nice, clean, friendly staff. Great views. The only downside is that they make you pay for parking, which is ridiculous because there's no shortage of parking in the lot.
The stay was good. The hotel was located right off the water, and was a nice place for my family to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The rooms were clean and who kept. The hotel is close to the airport which is a good and a bad thing
Great front desk staff, professional and extremely helpful. Very accommodating. Wait staff (bar, breakfast, happy hour staff) were fantastic and attentive. 5/5, will be back to this location for all future Point Loma and Coronado visits.
Attending a wedding reception here and the hotel itself is really nice and in a great location! The outdoor patio was chilly and they didn't have heaters, so many of the guests were cold or went inside to the local by to stay warm. They also only had one bartender for the event which didn't make send for the number of guests. The ballroom inside is pretty big and the facility is updated and perfect for the size of the party. The food was great and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and provided great customer service.
