This hotel is really close to the airport, convenient, close to eateries as well. Being nearly on the shoreline was also nice to experience while in the area for business.
For the rate we paid and the location and the overall hotel, it's a good place to stay. The hotel was clean and the rooms nicely done.
One will not go wrong with staying here.response / report this review -

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can get one at HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
Nicely located hotel directly across the street from the harbor. Quality restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is getting old and although it is kept clean it needs some updating. All of the painted surfaces feel gummy when touched. The towels are quite thin and stained. The breakfast is OK although the breakfast room is quite crowded even though there is an additional room available to eat in as well as tables outside. The staff was efficient and polite. The room is kept quite clean and comfortable. It is reasonably quiet inside the rooms although the airport is close as well as the naval base with it's bugle. I would stay again as we always have when in San Diego.response / report this review -

We came to San Diego for a cruise and just needed to stay over for 1 night. This hotel was perfect. It provided free shuttle to and from the airport as well as to and from the cruise port. There is a heated pool, which my 2 girls enjoyed and a jacuzzi. Free hot breakfast in the morning was the icing on the cake. All the staff were friendly from the shuttle driver to the check-in and check-out staff. It is close to the airport so expect to hear sounds of the airplanes flying overhead. It stopped at night, so we still had a good night sleep. I'm not sure why our room had water sounds from 4am in the morning on. Otherwise, this place is perfect right before hopping on a cruise. Will definitely stay here again.

The location was good. We walked on the piers and had close access to several good restaurants. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the harbor. The breakfast was good. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. -thank you-

The Best Western Yacht Harbor was a great hotel. Very clean rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was fantastic. The pool and hot tub were cleaned daily. It was very close to everything and a great view of the harbor. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, interesting design, loved getting 4 pillows each bed, very friendly helpful staff, and love the free apples and coffee in the lobby. To be 5 stars would take a improved hot breakfast as it seemed like eggs were powdered and potatoes on the salty side and perhaps someday they could upgrade the pool spa area with saltwater. Nonetheless sure beats those continental breakfasts. Good variety of options. Very much enjoyed our stay there and the proximity to Shelter Island.

Great spot to stay the night before an early morning flight. we have stay here several times and find it to be clean, friendly, and convenient. Love the free parking! Have often left the car for a week or two when on a trip or cruise. The rooms are clean, the location good with several choices of restaurants within walking distance and with transfers to the airport (although only starting at 7am). There is also a breakfast room which offers the usual fare

Only dropped by the hotel to pick up friends for dinner, but the staff was super nice. They helped make sure we were parked somewhere we wouldn't get a ticket and offered us candy from the front desk. Rooms seemed nice, good harbor views and within walking distance to a few restaurants right across the street.

Visited from Colorado for a get away. Rooms were decent sizes and very clean. The remote for the tv didn't work for a full night, but that's the only complaint I have to stretch for. The receptionist guy was very helpful. He always smiled, greeted us, and offered his assistance. Loved the warm breakfast. It was perfect for fueling up before the days adventure began. Overall, it's a good place to sleep, shower and refuel. Nothing special, but you don't need special just safe and clean.

Reservation was made for my in-laws under the friends and family rate. From the moment I called the Hotel with a few questions to the moment my in-laws C/O, the Hotel staff exerted an exceptional job. My in laws had nothing but great feedback on there stay. They enjoyed it so much, they will be returning in the near future. Thank you to all your staff for doing such a great job

Great hotel with reasonable prices for the area (particularly if you reserve online where you get a better deal). I really appreciate the extended parking availability which saves a lot on parking. I like the close proximity to great bicycle riding too. I enjoyed watching the warship head out to sea from Harbor Island and the dolphin feeding in the pens right below the overpass on Harbor Blvd. I will stay here again.

We stayed here for three nights after spending Christmas in LA with our daughters. It is easy to get to, and we didn't have any trouble getting back and forth to downtown San Diego. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the bar at the end of the day after touring the area. It is an elegant and very old school resort hotel, but it is leaning toward shabby chic. It really could use some updating - the decor is easily twenty years old. Lots of brass in the bathroom, heavy fabrics and wallpaper. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Aside from the dated decor, our room was very comfortable. The highlight of our visit was dinner at Addison. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay.
