Hotel is usually a good deal you can check in by 3 p.m. on most days rates are normally $79 per day pool and jacuzzi works there is a workout room and plenty of ice machines usually very clean and well kept up
Nice room, but smelled terrible when we arrived. Card stopped working 3 times already in a 7 day long stay. Loud noises kept waking me up at night. Lady, terrible customer service and annoying. I call before to make sure there's a room available and I confirm I'm 20 min away, I arrive and she says "I didn't know how long you were gonna take so I gave up your room" I then wait an hour. She keeps insisting me to move rooms for the constructions and I said No because we have a lot of stuff and our check out is coming up anyway, she then says she's falling behind and with her attitude indirectly makes it seem as it's my fault. She directly tells me to check out earlier then we're supposed to. Also, one night I'm waiting for Uber in lobby and I get kicked out at 7:45 ish because she "closes at 8pm" Mind you it's cold outside and it's still more then 10 min before 8pm. I don't argue. I leave. Overall, terrible attitudes, terrible customer service.
Avoid this place like the plague! I would highly recommend spending the extra $20 to get a better hotel. The first issue we encountered upon entering our room was instantaneously noticeable, the room was smoke friendly. I called the front desk and was assured that this is what I had originally booked, I called the reservation line and was told that my room was non smoking. The front desks remedy was to send someone to spray the room for the smell, the spray did nothing. After walking around the room both me and my family noticed the lack of cleanliness and damaged items. There was blood smeared on various things throughout the room. This is where we drew the line, I walked down to the front desk and demanded a refund. I was told that I couldn’t get a refund because the employee would lose his job due to the owner not allowing refunds. I asked for the owners number and was told I could not have it, I showed the pictures to the employee and his attitude changed immediately. He called the owner and after a five minute conversation the owner allowed the refund. Unless this hotel goes through major restorations I would advise others to take their business elsewhere.
Went here a year ago this hotel was an easy 5 stars, nice clean rooms everything in working order. This year you can easily tell that they didn't maintain the standards. It looks good on the outside and that's about it. Rusted microwave, bathroom vent not working and hanging down, stained towels with hairs stuck in them. These are just a few things we ran into the first night, I could keep going on and on. I'm still debating on posting pictures.
It was a great hotel room, the a/c worked GREAT in 100+ heat. A little bit run down and looked like it wasn't being kept up well. Some things that weren't mentioned at check in: 1 elevator stops running until 7am, problem is that you found that out after you had walked to the closest one to the room.
This was the best hotel I ever stayed at the service was awesome the girls there were super hot I was so turned on I can't wait to stay there again for the rest of my life every single day until I die
Not where you wound expect to find a hotel but with the internet we found it. A bit hidden away, yet dull within 20-30 min away from all the major San Diego attractions. Outdoor hallways with two elevators and multiple stairways. It has a pool and spa (9am-9pm). It is in a valley so it gets cooler, than other areas, sooner since the sun it's hidden away sooner. The best part of the place is the rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Ours was very open and had a kitchenette. Full sized fridge and two top stove. No silverware or cutlery in the room by default. Only things we didn't like was no office chair for the desk and breakfast was not the most filling and lacking protein. A nice piece of quiet in San Diego.
This had its up and downs..
Ups:
Had a nice kitchen. Full refrigerator. Bed was nice. Clean sheets. Nice chair in room.
Downs:
Ac did not work. Small pillows. Felt like they were throw pillows . There was no water pressure in shower. Top cover on bed was dirty. So was the wrap on the bed. The breakfast food tasted stale. Didnt feel very safe.
It was a good hotel for the price. There were some small things, like the shower switch being difficult to move and a spot where the carpet was torn, but overall it was pretty good. We did find one small cockroach. I liked the kitchen with the refrigerator and the microwave. We also brought our two-year-old and had some good space for his pack-and-play. I felt like it was a pretty safe environment, too. A decent place for the price we paid.
Located right off interstate. Lots of room in each hotel room. Not super well kept up though. Decently clean but not detail cleaned. Could use renovation (but that would raise prices). Pool. WiFi, TV. Covered and uncovered parking. The contenental breakfast is okay. No meat, but cereal, dairy, waffles, coffee, juice, pastries, oatmeal, toast. Not enough staff.
Worst stay ever!!! Well not really a stay because we left after 20 minutes after check in. Room had makeup on pillows, microwave had bbq on knob, dirty bathroom shower floor, rooms smell strong of vinegar smell, hallways stink of marijuana. You can tell the hotel is used as a drug/ sex hotel and neighborhood is bad, hotel reminds me of budget sweets. If you have kids or even if you don't you have been warned. You will see all the action at night time.
Key safety warning signs: security metal bars around windows.
Was told by front desk the front desk closes at 9pm for safety of their employee. You'll be able to tell why at night like we did.
Days Inn is right off the freeway and easy to get to. This one is surrounded by tropical looking plants and it seems clean and quite. I was just visiting a guest and noticed the staff that seemed very pleasant and rooms were well kept and spacious.
Fun & friendly workers. Clean and spacious rooms. The area is very convenient close to the freeways and not too far from shopping centers
