It's very clean and well kept, the employees are very nice and attentive. The room was decorated beautifully and the bed was extremely comfortable

I stayed for two nights recently and enjoyed the stay. The staff (front desk, bartender, restaurant) were all very nice, friendly and helpful.
I made my points reservation via cell phone about a week before traveling. On arriving in Orange Park I had already received an alert that my room was ready and I just needed to go by the front desk and pick up my key.
The room and bed were all great with no problems, everything nice and clean.
Getting into the motel from Wells rd is easy by turning at the traffic signal onto Eldridge ave and right into the Marriott parking lot. There are plenty of sidewalks available in the area if you're a pedestrian.response / report this review -

The rooms are nice and comfortable. The cafe for breakfast is satisfying for quite quick dine. The stay has been enjoyable.

Let me first say the people were really nice, so that was a plus, beyond that I didn't feel like the room or experience lived up to expectations. Especially for a Courtyard by Marriott.
This is a green hotel which means the AC only comes on when you're in the room, so anytime I walked in it was hot for an hour and the humidity never left the air. The AC was so loud that when it went on at full power it would wake me out of a dead sleep or completely drown out the TV. And it was always humid and gross in the room.
Additionally the beds were hard, the cover over the comforter felt really icky, and the room felt dingy. One of the two beds was pushed so close to the larger closet it could not comfortably be utilized and the handle was falling off (see pics).
The grossest thing was the coffee pot. I opened it up to find an old filter and mold in it. I asked for a replacement and they brought me a dirty one that I had to clean. After that I was pretty much over coffee in the room (see pics).
There was a little bistro with a Starbucks downstairs but the food was greasy, awful, and overpriced. The Starbucks coffee was anything but. My coworker and I wound up tossing it in the trash.

While the rooms are always clean when i return in the evening, this is not a place well suited for extended stay. There is only one washer and dryer for the entire building. No free breakfast food of any kind, not even coffee. $3 for the cheapest Starbucks coffee on the menu. They claim to be a "green hotel", which i suppose is there excuse for the money they save by having AC units that turn off when u leave the room. After working in the sun all day u want to come back to a nice cool room, but its always at least 76 and humid in the room when i walk in. No kitchenette in any of the rooms. Again, if you're going for extended stay on business, go somewhere else.

If you are staying in JAX this is your typical Courtyard by Marriott. The hotel as clean, the staff was professional and helpful with room requests. This hotel was recently renovated the carpets and bathrooms were clean and look new. Only complaint is I had to move rooms, the walls are pretty thin so if you are a light sleeper it is probably best to get a higher room floor away from elevator. They moved me as soon as I requested. Can't speak to the pool or gym because I didn't have time to visit any such amenities.

DO NOT RENT the conference rooms in this place - they DO NOT CARE about anyone. THEY WILL book a loud party with a DJ right next to a meeting! IT IS LOUD - the "sound proof" walls are NOT soundproof! They're little flimsy tear down panels. This workers and management here are extremely disrespectful and they do not care about their customers!! Once they get your money - you are garbage to them. They are so rude. DO NOT use them. Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel.

Surprisingly good Wedding Venue if decorated right! Had a great time filming a Wedding there, and the staff was amazing! It's smaller as far as Wedding Venues are concerned, but looks great none the less! I haven't had the privalege of staying overnight, but would assume the stay is what should be expected by Marriott!
