My daughter was so happy.it was perfect. Great walk in shower. Great view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching over 30 surfers on our balcony! The area shops were very nice and Friendly!
The pillows were to die for.
The breakfast was very good. A great selectionfruit..cereals..sausage gravy😃. .french toast😃..eggssausage. .pastries..coffeemilketc.

Found this hotel on the Best Western app. Ended up in Jacksonville unexpectedly, and booked this hotel at the last minute. We were really surprised at how nice the room was. It's a small hotel right on the beach and right in the middle of a ton of restaurants, many good choices. The price was very reasonable for a last minute reservation, right on the beach. Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

Great updates and remodeled interior. Just need to make the exterior match what’s inside! Super friendly and helpful staff. I wasn’t expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised. Super duper small balcony with little privacy though. Not bad for a budget hotel.

Great location, recently remodeled rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Good desk for computer use. Lots of electrical outlets in the room. Bathroom was modern, great shower. Streetside room was noisy (loud bar across the street). Good breakfast, but breakfast area very small and cramped. All employees very helpful.

Wanted to love it but just couldn’t. Room had a funky smell to it that would die down if you left the door open but would get stronger with the door closed. Other than that hotel and rooms were in good shape somewhat recently remodeled. Breakfast was good and staff were nice. Some local friends told me to be careful walking around at night cause the area is near a homeless shelter and they will ask you for money or rob you if your not careful. I was careful so no issues.

This hotel is so clean and modernly updated. As many beachfront hotels I have stayed in this is the first that had a dehumidifier in the room, what a novel idea. The interiors seem to have been recently updated quite tastefully I must say. The big shower with sliding doors were a pleasant surprise. And had a great balcony looking out toward the ocean.
Also plenty of nightlife, restaurants and shopping right there.
They have a self serve hot breakfast buffet and safe parking.
We did not use the pool but it looked clean but small and in the parking lot at the sidewalk, still pretty cool.response / report this review -

We stayed at Best Western Oceanfront when evacuating from Hurricane Irma. The staff were wonderful. The hotel bent its rules and allowed evacuees to bring dogs.a truly caring thing to do for those of us fleeing from catastrophe. Thank-you for making our night there the first bit of relaxation we had had in days!

We had the best weekend in a long time and spent it with friendly, courteous and helpful staff at the BEST Western oceanfront in Jacksonville Beach. Newly remodeled-it is very nice and clean. I never saw so many outlets for charging devices! All of our needs were met. Good hot food for breakfast and right next to a walkway to the beach! Each staff person went above and beyond. We will be back.

Small hotel but very nice, rooms are very clean and you can tell not old at all. Beds are as comfortable as I've slept in, decent breakfast and safe location. Again everything is small or tight in the hotel but I would recommend anytime.

The property was well maintained. Parking provided. Rooms were clean and had a balcony. Location is just off the beach and walking distance to great bars. Office staff were friendly.

We honestly had the best time at this hotel. We went on a long vacation to Mexico then spent a week in Disney and decided to stay a night at the beach to cut the drive in half from driving from Miami to Orlando back to Macon,GA. I did not expect the hotel to be like it was. It is literally on the beach with restaurants and shops literally 20-30 feet from the hotel. The beach was well kept with lifeguards on duty. WE HAD A BLAST!!!! Needless to say the rooms are like new. The beds are unbelievably comfortable and our ocean view was breath taking. The pictures don't do it justice.it's so much better and may I mention the pictures are pretty nice!! I always read reviews and this review is totally honest. I travel often for leisure and have already planned a long weekend back to this hotel. Great valuevery cleanfriendly staff!

The front desk receptionists and housekeeping attendants were both so friendly and helpful. Our room faced the ocean and there was even a patio to sit on, which made for a breath taking view! Family booked this hotel for us for a week for our honeymoon. We had a blast! Our room was perfect, very clean.
