Great location, great staff. If you want to get anywhere in Grand Rapids, this is the place. 2 Starbucks within walking distance and you never go outside. I love it.

Comedian Rich Wallace is one of our clients who is constantly on tour and staying in different hotel properties throughout the country. This is one is quickly becoming one of his favorites with the clean and comfy rooms, and the awesome staff (even after 2am!!) The Starbucks coffee and breakfast in the restaurant, and the location to lots of shopping and entertainment is also very awesome. Thank you for taking such great care of our client time after time and for always providing those traveling with Ignite Hospitality Services a wonderful experience!

The downtown Courtyard in Grand Rapids is a near perfect place to stay when in the area. I have now stayed at this location twice (once in a King suite and more recently on a double Queen room) and both times were outstanding. From the moment I checked in with the friendly and informative clerk throughout the next day's checkout, the stay was comfortable and convenient. The hotel shares a top notch pool and workout center with the high rise condos attached to the building and also has an easy in/out underground parking garage for those who prefer not to valet. The rooms themselves are modern, spacious, and very clean. Furthermore, the property is located in the heart of the city which allows so many options for drinks and dining. Grand Rapids in Beer City, USA, after all. I would certainly stay here again and would suggest this Courtyard to anyone traveling to the area.

Lovely front desk service. They really are there to help make your stay a great one. Updated rooms. Nice and clean. Internet in the TV. So you can watch your Netflix account right on the TV. Starbucks and a small Cafe in the lobby. Only complaint is half the time the valet was not the best. Either no one there when dropping off or you car was just parked and running . You get right on your car and never see anyone. Otherwise. Amazing stay

Wonderful hotel. Room was very nice, newer furniture and beds. Helpful staff and all areas of the hotel were in excellent condition. I would definitely stay here again.

Got a room with a king sized bed, very comfortable. The TV has all of the inputs available in case you want to play a movie from your laptop, which is a nice feature since most hotels have all of the inputs covered up to force you to use their pay per view system. Can't think if anything negative to say, staff was friendly and everything was great.

The rooms are spacious and clean! The pool area was clean and nicely kept. Location was perfect! My only issue was that staff at the front desk were not the most friendly or welcoming. The valet service was phenomenal and so convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

Visited for my Best Friends Wedding, stayed for two nights. My stay was AMAZING. Not surprising it was a Marriott property. All the staff were amazing and professional . Very helpful in helping to find cool places to eat as we were not from the city.

Location was great with several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The hotel was modern and clean. Our room was large and the floor was quiet. The hotel bistro was typical for courtyard, and overall underwhelming. They did have a few local beers on draft which was nice. Parking is available paid in an adjacent garage.

Great bar with seats that are to die for. They have a lounge where you can sit back in a lounge chair and talk or watch the game. Great room and plenty big for larger groups.

I have visited the Courtyard Marriott multiple times now, and have loved it every time! The newly renovated rooms are AMAZING, and the staff is always friendly and professional. I have nothing but good things to say!

Great stay but parking fees will cost you. "On site" self parking is $16 and two blocks away. Or you can choose Valet parking and have $25 added to your bill. I know this is standard with most downtown hotels but I am more apt to stay at a hotel that would waive this fee for guests or even reward members. Hotel staff was great. Willing to help where needed.

My boyfriend and I were booked at the Courtyard at the beginning of January for a conference, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The new renovations are absolutely wonderful, and our room had a great sense of coziness with a modern touch. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, and parking was easy. The only complaint I have is with the Jacuzzi in the Pool area. We found that the Jacuzzi was letting off a lot of chlorine fumes, to the point where other guests, myself, and other members of my family started experiencing coughing fits and itchy throats. It wasn't a pleasant feeling to have the rest of the weekend.
