Very nice place. Room was very nice. Bed extremely comfortable. Very large TV. Breakfast was okay
One of the best LaQuintas we've stayed in. Friendly, helpful clerk at desk, clean and updated rooms, wonderful breakfast with biscuits & gravy, waffles, eggs, etc. King suite was roomy, clean, beautiful. The 2 smoking areas at front entrance are the best - all hotels should do it this way - instead of having to stand in parking lot or sit on the curb, smokers have sofas, chairs, tables & ashtrays which are very clean, prevent cigarettw litter and prevent people from smoking in rooms. We got a great rate by using some of our reward points which made it cheaper than any other hotel in area - we love the La Quinta rewards programs, there's a special programs for military / veterans - points add up quickly and if you don't have enough to cover entire stay, can use partial for reduced rate. Elite members get free room upgrade if one is available upon arrival. Our cat loves LaQuinta, she recognizes the hotel layout.
I had a very rough day today. My air b&b fell through after 9 hours of driving from Pittsburgh with my two dogs. An amazing man name Cain (I could totally be spelling this wrong, sorry!) helped me and did everything he could for me. Thank you so much! I will be staying here next time I am in town!
Friendly staff and clean room. Easy parking. Going east on I 40 this is just before the mountains start so good place to spend the night.
On a round trip from Charlotte, NC to Oklahoma City, OK and we stayed here for the last night before finally getting home (third hotel in four days of travel). For some reason, couldn't book the government discounted rate online, so I called the hotel directly and spoke with Cain. He was so helpful, courteous, and accommodating - we are hauling a 20' trailer and he went outside in this Nationwide Cold Snap of 2018 to make sure that we would have plenty of room to maneuver our vehicles once we arrived. We weren't sure what to expect from a random hotel picked for it's proximity to the interstate for convenience, but this La Quinta has, by far, been the best/nicest hotel we've EVER stayed at on short-notice. If it's not a brand new building, they've done a wonderful job of remodeling it, it's clean, quiet, comfortable, and like I said before, the staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and make your experience as pleasant as possible. Plus, check-out is at noon instead of 11A!! A happy little extra bonus for us after a long-haul. For the money, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area!!
If you are planning to use one of their coupons for a $72 room, don't bother stopping.. Lady said that those rooms had been taken at 3 pm, right after check in had begun. Can't imagine that there was more than one or two rooms available for "walk-ins only" at $72 as advertised. However room was nice, and breakfast was good for $95 for 2 queen beds.
Awesome stay! Gm and staff go above and beyond to make your stay a great one.if I ever go thru this area again will stay only here unless full then have no choice
My husband and I stayed here 2 different times in the same week with our 2 small dogs. We had the same room both times. It was clean, updated and smelled very nice. We had a very pleasant experience. Would definitely stay here again!
The floors feel sticky..like humidity sticky. Don't walk on carpet without shoes. The beds are nice and the breakfast area is small.
I got the room for my nephew and his bride for their wedding night. The girl at the desk (Paris think was her name) was outstanding. From the first phone call to check out, she was incredibly helpful and very friendly. They were very accommodating (we wanted to surprise them with some gifts in the room). The rooms were nice and very clean! Overall, I'd recommend this place for all!
Clean and a/c nice n cool. Bed comfy w lots of pillows. Free morning breakfast inc. make your own yummy Belgian waffles! Friendly staff. Would stay here again.
Nice hotel for the money. Good hot breakfast in the morning. And pet friendly.
My wife and drove up to TN from FL for one day to visit family. I am familiar with Cookeville but unfamiliar with its actual hotels. The experience was wonderful. Staff was friendly, especially Achilles [the name he wanted to be called:)] He took great care of us. The room was beautiful and clean. We will definitely be staying here again!
