I chose to lower my rating after years of visiting this establishment. The service has gotten better over the years, however during my most recent 2 visits I have gotten very poor service at the bar. The bartender will make eye contact, then completely ignore you for 5 plus minutes without so much as a menu. Coming from an industry background I understand being busy, but even on slow nights this bartender just isn't up to par. On the other hand the food and cocktails are still on point! Overall a good place to visit.

Great selection and great taste. Including veggie options. Crust is great. Patio is a decent option. Inside is pretty DARK.

We visited on a Friday night around 6pm. The place was very busy both inside and out. We chose to sit at the bar. Bartender was great, friendly, sincere, and provided the best service he could given how busy he was. We ordered big beers and asked the guy making the pasties right in front of us what his favorite was. He didn't steer us wrong with the peppered steak pasties. It Wes delicious.

Cool menu - lots of combinations that you wouldn't expect in a hand pie end up looking fabulous here - Cuban sandwich, for instance (which is GREAT if you're asking me) - Greek chicken (got rave reviews) - vegan chicken (um, not my thing, but our vegetarian thought it was great).
The three doors into the establishment is kind of weird, and we tried two of them and still didn't get it right, but once you're seated you can get anything from the menu on any side.

A staple of Tempe. If you visit ASU town and don't come to Cornish, you effect up, bro.

Gotta get the Mexican Pasty! Very bomb. And the Reuben.. my absolute favorite.

They've got vegan options and killer happy hour specials too.. $5 car bombs? Sick!

This place is an old habit for me and my man. You just can't go wrong with whatever you order, and there is so much variety, there is something for everyone! The staff is the best you can find! They're very knowledgeable about the food, and the drink selection You can always ask for a sample if you are unsure. I highly recommend Cornish Pasty Co. for anyone looking for a good time, great atmosphere, and a full belly!

The food is always tasty and they have a great beer selection. The staff is friendly and knowledgable of the menu! Have been going here for years and plan to go for many more! I spend my birthday here every year when I'm in town! Always playing great music too! Delicious from beginning to end.

There are many seats here and it's a very open and friendly pub style place. It's very dimly lit inside. We went in and were told to sit anywhere. The server took our drink orders immediately and gave us some time to decide given how large their menu is. I got the Oggie and oven chips. The pasty was hot and tasty. It was loaded with beef and potatoes. I'm a french fry lover and typically prefer them fried, but somehow they make great oven "chips." Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The only complaint I have is that I feel the food had too much black pepper. It was overwhelming in both the pasty and the fries. Other than that great place and good food.

Man oh man I'm full. Looked a little small when it came out, but their pasties are super filling and priced very well.

Tons of selection for the meat eater, vegetarian, vegan, or any style of eater. Very eclectic menu.

Service was prompt and casual.

Beer selection was impressive, 16, 20, and 32 Oz draught beer options.

Great option for lunch or dinner in Tempe.

This place is absolutely amazing! We came here to Phoenix on our honeymoon and wanted to try something a little unique. This place completely delivered! We tried the Cajun chicken and portobello chicken pasty and they were amazing! I loved how they had some leaner options so I could eat healthy and still enjoy a great meal! The staff was friendly and helpful. The staff was attentive but didn't hover so we could enjoy our meal.

Unique eatery. The food is pretty good. Don't expect a fast meal, these tasty pastries take a while to bake. The google listed menu prices as not valid at least as of 3/20/17. All items have increased a couple of dollars.

I would love to give this a 5 star based solely on the food but will only give a 4 based on the atmosphere and wait time. The food is fresh and delicious. My husband and I sat on the smaller side of the building for a relaxing date. The decor' on the smaller side of the building is very cave-like dark with heavy rock music. This kind of atmosphere is not my kind of place . However the staff are friendly cleanly and its fun to watch from the bar the preparation of massive amounts of pasties . No matter what pasty I get it is delicious with a perfectly thick and flaky crust. However since they are made fresh you will have to wait at least 30 min for your food if they don't have that pasty already made up. If you are a college student who wants good food and alcohol and are willing to wait in a festive party environment this is a great place . If your more conservative and just want great food with more lighting I suggest ordering and pickup.
