Miso Soup was delicious. Garlic Edamame is amazing. And Chef’s Choice of Salmon, Tuna, and Yellow Tail Sashimi gave them the kosher thumbs up! Five stars all the way.

Pretty standard sushi joint, but 5 stars for the PLAYLIST! Straight fire. Mos Def, Common, Wu, Gang Starr, Talib.. probably makes the food taste that much better :D

I took my sister to eat here for her birthday last night. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The waitress was very patient with all of my questions about the menu. The only negative thing i have to say is i think its dangerous to have a bathroom where both men and women go to together. I dont mind the idea at all, but i felt scared last night when an obviously drunk man went into the rest room while my sister was there waiting for me and he basically watched my silhouette of me peeing (the doors have lights inside the frame) while standing right next to my 14 year old sister. She was scared. I know this isnt something serious to most people but for someone who has ptsd because of inconsentual sexual activities, i was scared. I would not want women to feel afraid of using your bathroom. Its bad for business. Other than that i would come back. The service was lovely.

This place was absolutely amazing!! Timothy Hay the general manager greeted us and then at the end of our meal I told him how amazing it was. He's excellent at what he does and this is a great place to go. I definitely recommend them!!! We will be back!!

My first time eating here. The service was great. I got 3 spicy crab rolls. They weren't so great, they were kinda fishy. But still delicious.

I walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff. I said I wanted to sit and the bar, she walked me over and told me that Nathan would be my server. Nathan was very attentive, got my drink in short order and asked what I wanted to eat. I asked for his suggestions and he gave me 3. I chose the Pokemon roll. An excellent choice. It was so delicious I would have gotten another one of I wasn't so full. I'm not the person to post my food on facebook, but Squid Ink deserved it. I'm only in Phoenix for 3 days, but you can bet I'm going back and asking for Nathan again. Great job guys!

The food is good. I have never had issues filling my stomach, but if your goal is drinks then pass on this and hit Bitter and Twisted.

Clean and well staffed for lunch. Best sashimi was the salmon by far. Try the quail eggs shooters. Great taste.

Went on a Sunday on the night of a concert and the restaurant was busy and clearly understaffed. Our group was in a time crunch and needed to eat quickly, we figured 1.5 hours for dinner would be enough time. Well after about 45 mins we started getting worried since our food was nowhere to be found. Our waitress explained they were understaffed and that she didn't know when our sushi would be ready. At the this point we just wanted to leave and pay for our drinks. Literally upon walking out our food was ready and we sat back down to speed eat as fast as possible. The only reason I am giving this a 4 star review is because of how the manager handled the situation. He reduced our drink bill and took off the sushi. That simple act turned a 1 star review to a 4.

I went to Squid Ink for dinner one night while in Phoenix on business. I was traveling by myself so I sat at the bar. Staff was friendly. It was happy hour so I ordered a rainbow roll and then a sesame salad. The salad was really good with a roasted sesame taste, though I wish it had a bit more avocado. The roll was okay, not particularly flavorful, but the quality of the fish seemed good. If I were to go back, I would probably order something with more flavorful elements. Overall, a pretty good experience.

Went to eat last night after the oldies concert walked in stood waiting for someone to greet us for a few min with employees just standing around talking. When we finally got seated we were there for about 10-15 min and no one acknowledged we were there so we walked out. As we were already out the door the manager Tim was able to convince us to go back and let him make it a better experience for us. We went back in had the best customer service, Tim made sure we were happy with the all around visit to squid ink. By far the best sushi we have had in quite a few months. Thank you Tim for the outstanding customer service you provided and how you were able to convince us to go back in definitely well worth it! Absolutely will go back!
