We hold a season pass. Totally worth the trip. The prize for completing your stamp book is a plastic sea life medallion on blue ribbon. They've added an awesome outdoor river play area. Depending on the kiddo allot at least 15mins for river play, 15 mins or more for play place and 45min-1hr for fish. Holiday themed right now and they just added a new, extra cost scavenger hunt.
Amazing experience. Wasn't nearly as crowded as I thought it would be. You can tell they designed the whole place with the fish in mind, not the observers. All the staff is very knowledgeable and they don't mind answering the same questions over and over again. Good daytime outing for a baby.
We have the annual pass and our little one loves this place. They do a good job keeping the place clean and the staff is very friendly. If you enter the mall from the entrance near the aquarium you will notice there is a small outside interactive area and it's very easy to walk right by it without noticing. When you get to the area where they let you touch the animals the door to see the outside area is just to the left of the pools.
With the annual membership this is an amazing place for toddlers to explore as many times as they like throughout the day. It is rather small, but perfect for my 2 year old. At the end of the path there is a climbing gym, perfect for burning more energy for the little ones.
My 2 year old loves visiting Sea Life Aquarium. It's fun and educational. It's well kept inside and the staffs are very friendly. I also appreciate the same day re-entry privileges. Go in, look around, get out and grab a bite to eat, and go back inside veggie leaving the mall.
Loved the bubble windows and all the learning activity's the kids can do. Tablet Pad at each aquarium so you can learn more. Great atmosphere inside. Touch center. Feeding of the shark's. Plus a small play ground area. Decently priced gift shop. My daughter had a blast. Love/Hate that you have to schedule date and time to go but see why. We went through sea life twice to get our money's worth.
A surprisingly good aquarium, especially since it's in a mall.
We bought a combo ticket for SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND, and honestly, skip LEGOLAND Discovery Center, it's not worth it. Go to SEA LIFE instead.
Lots of fish and fish-like creatures along with plenty of hands-on stuff for the kids (and kids-at-heart). We've been to the Vancouver Aquarium, and while they're not comparable at all, we enjoyed this one much more (probably because it wasn't crowded beyond capacity).
Amazement and appreciation are the words that come to mind while visiting the SEA LIFE Arizona. The beauty and vitality of fishes of all colors and all types including the shark, and the creation and maintenance of their living spaces the way that can be seen are both amazing and admirable. Just being there and watching the expression of life, their coming, going, and the turning around will bring you joy. A great and memorable visit for all.
It is small, bit bigger than it looks from the outside. The glass was clean and clear and that really helps you feel fully immersed is some of the cut outs in the glass and the tanks. I enjoyed myself and it was just my wife and I and our 2 month old. I will come back when my daughter is old enough to see the animals.
I have a great respect for the Sea Life Aquarium of Arizona. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always asking you if they can be of assistance. They take their time and will spend one on one sessions explaining about the sea life and how they must take care of them. We have yearly passes and even though we go multiple times a year we still spend around two and one half hours going through the aquarium.
Give Sea Life of Arizona a try. They keep it clean and are ready to educate you. There are benches to sit down on and plenty of room for strollers.
Check out the movie while you are there it is usually around 10-15 minutes long and very educational. Today's movie was on how they feed the sea life each day.
Thanks Sea Life Arizona!
This place has a lot of stuff to see. The decor is great. Place is clean. The staff that talks about fish and other things are very friendly and awnser questions for you. My favorite thing is the pictures at the end are very fair priced. They do not gouge like most places. If you do not take your time to check out each section or enjoy a feeding then you can get through it in a few min. But then what was the point of going?
