Its pretty pathetic when they take their patients right away to have visitors. I went to see a family member with my 1 year old child with me and was told we could not go up because it is now hospital policy no children under 12. Oh but if it were myself or her father she would have been aloud. I understand if you give visitors a warning that hey their is an outbreak or ex. It's flue season and let us decide but you are taking their right away. I mean for all they know my family member could have been dying and we were there to say our final goodbyes which thankfully isn't the case but you are going to take that away from someone. Way to go CRMC you have ranked #1 in being heartless, but y'all will have to live with that.

I've had several surgeries and precedures done at this hospital since 2004. All the staff from housekeeping to the doctors​have always been very good to.i could go to a much larger hospital a whole lot closer to me, but will not give up the care I receive here for a shorter drive. They must treat their well also. I've seen most of a the same faces, especially in OR all these years. That's a very comforting when your wheeled into the operating room and feel like you know the people that are taking care of you and they even remember you too. I can't say enough great things about Dr Cordista and Dr Venu. Without Dr Cordista I wouldn't be here today and Dr Venu is the most caring compassionate doctor I've ever heard of much less have the privilege of knowing.You centainly can't go wrong here!!

I'll never forget the night I brought one of my patients into this hell hole. We came into the ER aroind 11: 30 PM and waited on the ER doctor while my 83 year old patient was in agony, and then about 20 minutes later, this "doctor" waltzes in and laughs at my patient. My patient was vomiting up blood and was in pain and was screaming, this doctor just laughed at him. Then he left. At that point I had been taking care of this special man for several years so I knew that this wasn't normal. Then a team of "nurses" came in to shove a tube down my poor patients throat to see what was in his stomach. They did way more harm than good.
Long story short, they wound up transferring my dear, sweet patient to a much better hospital down in Tallahassee where they discovered that he had ruptured his esophagus and then after arriving at the hospital, his poor body couldn't take anymore, and he had a heart attack and he left this world. This was about 6 years ago and I think about that sweet man every day. Even though he was in his 80's, and I was in my early 30s, he was truly the best friend I had. And I wish that I could have done more for him. But I did hold his hand every night even though he would beg me to get in bed with him and hold him. I never did. But sometimes wish I had. Just so he could have felt that somebody loved him.
I quit nursing school after I lost him and immediately got in the massage therapy program. I couldn't do nursing anymore, or have my heart break like that ever again.
Do your self a favor and never go to CCRMC in Moultrie Georgia, Colquitt County. I'd rather chew broken glass than send anyone I cared about to that uncaring, sociopathic place. That night haunts my dreams.response / report this review -

My fiance and I welcomed our baby boy into the world recently at Colquitt Regional and the Doctors, Nurses, and all the staff treated us like family..we will never ever forget all the kindness we received there !!

All personnel were extremely friendly. The cardiac doctor Lawrence Ukpong was very professional and after EKG Echogram and stress test he spent as much time as we needed to make certain we completely understood the results and the implications. I would certainly recommend this hospital for any diagnostic analysis

I've had both good and bad experiences here, both myself and with loved ones. Sometimes the care seems a bit substandard, and at other times it can be the best care you could ever receive.
The ER is definitely slow, but there can be many reasons for this so I try not to be too quick to judge them on it. Triage is there to decide who should see a doctor first, so basically to decide how much of an emergency your issue is. I'm certain that trauma patients are going to be seen ahead of flu patients etc. Sometimes as well, the waiting area can be empty but an ambulance could have brought in someone much more of an emergency than yourself.
Long story short, last time I went in at 10 pm, got triaged pretty quickly, maybe a half hour after arriving, then decided to leave around midnight without seeing a doctor at all. They actually called my name for financials about the time I was heading to the door, so I went back and explained I changed my mind about service. Got a bill for 15 dollars a couple of weeks later for the blood pressure cuff they used. Last time I ever needed them. Went the next day to an urgent care clinic and got taken care of much quicker and cheaper than the ER would have ever been.

Worst service ever!!! My daughter was sent to the hospital by her doctor to get a shot for her UTI infection and the staff was rude always on their phones instead of actually attending to the patient. The nurse took forever to actually even see us, the nurse practitioner never even came. I will never come here again. This hospital will probably let you die. Next time I'm just taking my daughter an hour away to a different hospital.

Do yourself a favor and go to Archbold instead of this place. A year ago went into the ER with vomiting, chills, a headache which felt like my head was between a vice grip. They said it's just strep. I was in the bathroom screaming in pain because of my head, they told me to get up and they discharged me with pain meds and an antibiotic. That night I went back because the pain, chills, and vomiting were worst. They said it was just nausea. Two days later I began hallucinating so I went to Archbold. Diagnosed with double pneumonia and sepsis. Spent a night in the IMCU.

I'd give it a zero. My wife went to er on 11/22/16 with a bout of pancreatitis and they check her levels and said that they were high but couldn't do anything, they didn't have a bed. WTH? I can understand them not wanting to do anything because of no insurance, but I HAVE insurance! They just remodeled that place and spent way too much money on it, but don't have enough beds? No way that hospital is that full! Proud to live in Colquitt County, can't say anything nice about our hospital though, I'll go to Thomasville or Tifton.

This hospital kills people.. Someone should really look into it. They did not perform an x ray on my grandmother and misdiagnosed her and she died. I do t know if it's the Tuskegee Experiment all over again or is it just a socioeconomic factor.
