OMG the employees are rude, the wait time is forever, and overall just a waste of your time.. I've been waiting for almost 4 hours to be seen for a simple Medical issue. I won't be back EVER!!!!!!

Our family has had numerous (unfortunately) visits to TMH (ER and Hospital). We have always had nothing but a positive experience. Most recently was an ER for my daughter - she was seen in record time with the tests needed to find her source of pain. People are quick vent their negatives - as a family who has had several visits - I highly recommend TMH.

If they had zero stars, that's what I'd give them. RUDEST nurses. I think I'd rather be hurt then get "help" from them. They hire clinically diagnosed Bipolar women to work for them hello do a back ground check They also rehire nurses who has bailed on the job, leaving patients unattended and other nurses pulling double shifts. SMH WORST HOSPITAL EVER

Let me start by saying if they had negative numbers they would receive a negative number from my family. My child is a 1st year college student who was transported by Leon County ambulance service . My daughter was experiencing excruciating pains in her abdominal area on a scale of 1- 10. Her pain was a 10 on the scale. My child was asked by the ambulance staff to walk into the hospital which she did because she is a respectful child. The hospital staff allowed my child to sit in the waiting room in excess of 4.5 hours never given her anything for her pain. When she was taken in the back in triage she still was not given any pain medication. She was released 12 hours later still not given anything for pain. She was experiencing pain as explosive as labor pains. I would not recommend anyone to go to this hospital. They are a bunch of non caring individuals.

After 7 hours waiting finally doctor came in and did exam. I asked if xrays were clear and he asked ME why xrays were done! He hadn't even looked at them. Basically they ordered them for no reason. That's why our insurance premiums are so high!

Hope and pray you NEVER have to deal with the "billing department" at this hospital. They are the rudest, laziest, most unprofessional people you will ever have the displeasure of coming across. It is simply amazing how they could have compiled an office with as many low class people as you will find here. If they are talking to you, they are lying. They receive FIVE STARS for incompetence and uncooperation.

Die. If you're coming here for an emergency ,just die in peace regardless of what state you're in. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous and I have never seen a more unorganized hospital ever. Asked for a wait time and the lady at the front said she couldn't give a timeframe. If this is in EMERGENCY care facility you'd think they'd treat it like you're in an emergency, based off the other reviews it also seems many many other people have the same issues going on and that it is not being acknowledged or getting fixed.

My Mom was taken by ambulance to this hospital. The Dr's in the ER were great but as soon as they put her in ICU we were not allowed in and no one told us anything for 3 HOURS. The only reason we were contacted because they wanted to know if she was a DNR. I lost my Mom that day. I lost 3 hours I could have been with her and at least told her I loved her. No I don't recommend this place! Then nearly a month later the pharmacy calls and tells us they have her meds ready. WTH

So I went to the THM emergency room because my blood sugar was high. The staff there made it seem like it was no big deal and I shouldn't have come. They just gave me fluids and monitored my glucose level for a few hours. In the past i have been admitted to the hospital for a day or two for the same issue. The emergency room was dirty and the equipment looked very outdated.The doctor only came for 5 minutes and then left. The worst part is they just sent me a bill because they didn't bill my insurance. Even after they took down my insurance information twice. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is because the awesome nurses I encountered. Overall if you can go to another hospital don't go to TMH.

I had to bring my husband to the ER so he could have a knee looked at by a doctor. We tried to make an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon, but that was at least a week away and the knee got so swollen and painful that we had no choice but to come to the ER. The waiting area was so cold we had to ask for blankets to try and stay comfortable. Everyone else there was in a coat or had a blanket too. People were complaining that they had been waiting for at least 5 hours and still hadn't seen a doctor. The employees at the check-in desk can't tell you anything about where you stand on the list either. It took us 6 hours before we saw a doctor and that was after spending an hour sitting in an ER room waiting on a doctor. It was over 9 hours before we were finished and left. We understand that there are protocols for seeing people, but 6 hours? When we finally got to an ER room the nurse told us that we should be glad it only took 6 hours to see a doctorif we had to make an appointment with our primary care doctor it might take a week to see them. Really? We tried to explain that we were traveling through the area and going home to our doctor was not a possibility, but she really didn't want to hear that. The business model at this hospital is very broken and needs to be addressed. It makes us wonder about the quality of health care in this area and whether we should really consider relocating here.

I visited this emergency room last week due to complications with my pregnancy. I waited in the lobby area for 5 hours without being seen, so I ended up leaving. I decided that waiting until my doctors appointment this week would be a better option than spending the night in the lobby area of the ER. They really need a better system to the emergency room. They have people taking urine samples in the lobby area restroom and walking back through where people are sitting to return it to the nurse. (Restrooms were not clean) .They also take vital signs at the main desk where people check in at. I just feel that it is very unprofessional. I felt like I was at a free clinic when I pay a great amount for health insurance. Patients should be receiving faster, private and better care.
