As long as you are okay with being treated by the most popular instead of the most qualified then this is the place for you. Don't worry you might not die. They scare off all the good or great staff to have friends. I would recommend a complete restructuring of its management staff. I would NEVER GO HERE EVER. Unless you are not going to make it to a better run facility. DO NOT GO INTO SURGERY HERE YOU ARE TAKING YOUR LIFE INTO UNCERTAIN MANAGEMENT DECISIONS.

Each and every nurse was so kind to me and my family. I was even given a large private room that I wasn't expecting. Everything was so clean and orderly. They made the best decisions before the neurosurgeon performed my operation. I had 100 % perfect outcome,,,,and I thank the entire team.

I had a very good experience at my stay in the hospital, the doctors, nurses and staff were great.
The checking out time schedule needs to be improved, as people have to have someone come and drive the home and not be inconvenienced and be delayed, they told me I would be discharged around noon time, after several delays I finally was able to leave at 4 PM

Horrible care. Simply avoid unless it's an emergency. I went into OPMC on 5/10/2017 for a arthroscopic procedure on my stomach. The IV was placed in a very painful spot (I've had several before). When I was coming out of the effects of the anesthesia, I could hear the operating room staff talking negatively about the surgeon "He turned a 5 minute procedure into a 35 minute procedure". When I came too some more, my right eye felt like it had been poked, and it burned badly. I let them know, and eventually they agreed to send me to an ophthalmologist. I had to stumble down the corridor, through a parking lot, and across a street. Arriving at Clay Eye, The Dr. said that my right eye had an abrasion.

When I got home, I realized that I had a scratch on the right side of my nose. Afterward, I received a bill from the eye doctor. The hospital kept assuring me that it would be paid, and it simply wasn't. Finally I had to pay the eye doctor and the hospital sent me the money (after months of phone calls and emails with the hospital).

Conclusion, there may be certain departments at this hospital that are OK (I've heard good things about their neonatal care). However, due to their lack of post op professionalism (negative comments), neglect in protecting my eyes while under anesthetic, neglect in not providing a wheelchair to the exit, and guiding me to the eye doctor, their extremely confused and drawn out customer care follow-up I must tell the public to avoid this facility unless it is a time-is-of-the-essence emergency situation.

The labor and delivery unit nurses can't even tell how far you are dilated! I was told I was 8 centimeters by a nurse only to have my doctor say I was at 5. Later the nurse said I was still at 5, so we sent out family home because it we thought it would be awhile. My doctor came in 10 min later and said I was at 10 and ready to push so none of our family was there. I also had problems with the epidural, when I told the nurse I could still feel everything, she condescendingly told me "well you're going to feel a little pressure sweetie" and made me feel bad for pressing the medication button too many times . Then they gave me Pitocin (which I had specifically requested not to be given) to increase contractions without asking me or even telling me they were doing it and I felt it all. The anesthesiologist finally came in after I complained for 3 hours and low and behold my epidural wasn't in place and they had to give me another one. After my son was born, I had nurses coming in every 30 min to check on me, it was the middle of the night and after more than 24 hours of labor all I wanted to do was sleep and they made that impossible. Meanwhile, during the day, if I needed something like medication or to be shown how to dress baby's circumcision, the nurses took almost 2 hours to respond to the call button. Maybe the other departments are better, but I would not recommend this hospital to anyone having a baby!

My husband after waiting 2 weeks, finally had his CAT scan today. Upon arrival we learned they needed more information for the order. They would have to contact the doctor. Mind you, the hospital had the order for 2 weeks. After waiting over 80 minutes, the order was obtained as needed. We then waited for the tech. Finally, they came for him. The tech said he would have a disc in 5 minutes. After waiting again, I went to the receptionist in radiology and asked her about the disc. She obviously was put out that I would ask for assistance. I am disabled and my husband is also impaired in mobility as he is no weight bearing on his left foot. I use a walker and still have difficulty walking. Seems to me the hospital could have been more prepared with the order that was faxed weeks prior to this appointment. If something was lacking they should have gotten it right prior to us arriving. Seeing that we are both disabled, they could have been of more assistance. We have had issues in the past as well. Wish our doctors would use another hospital. We go where they tell us. We will again share our experiences with our providers. Please better your preparations before your patients arrive. Your patients have all types of medical issues and making things easier on them would be a blessing and not go unnoticed. Hopefully the staff could be educated on patience with people who are ikk. Compassion goes a long way and is appreciated

I was admitted through the ER having been transported by rescue on Sept 13th 2017 (this was the closest cardiac care unit) and spent a week at "Club OP". I cannot begin to thank the competent, pleasant and professional staff that took excellent care of me and made the best of my tough situation. The new private 4 North tower rooms are spacious and very accommodating. The dietary staff accommodated my kosher dietary needs..the food was actually good. I had a heart cath and pacemaker surgery and am very thankful for new friends at Club OP..

I was going through a miscarriage and luckily got brought into here. I am very skeptical of hospitals due to the fact that I have been misdiagnosed in the past but I had a great experience considering what I was going through. All the staff was very friendly and caring (genuinely). I had Alicia as my PA and she was very sweet and caring and stayed with me the whole time. If I ever have another emergency I won't hesitate coming here.

Terrible! You'd be better off having a home birth than delivering your child here. Rude nurses! Suffered injury from improper epidural and falling from L&D bed. Legal consequences are a go. You can't treat people like garbage OPMC! You have a duty to give proper health care, or find another occupation!!!

My father had heart surgery performed here and ended up having more issues with his heart afterwards. I will not go into detail due to legal matters but I will say if you need serious medical attention, do NOT seek help from this hospital. Patient information is not communicated, nor is it taken correctly. This place could have killed my dad.
