Always awesome service. Portion sizes are top notch and the food is always great tasting. I don't recall ever getting soggy broccoli or overcooked meats. The Orange chicken and buffalo wings are delicious!

Great quick service, Great portions.
BBQ pork was not pleasing.
Chicken teriyaki was well cooked but sauce lacks consistency, flavorless.
Broccoli beef was great on flavor but it was missing a bit of sauce.
Orange chicken can also improve a bit on the flavor.response / report this review -

The best, most authentic Chinese to go & dine in restaurant in North County! And the best fruit smoothies to boot! They're made with real fruit and boy can you taste the difference! Why is it the best?
It's very fresh, they cook in small batches so it tastes like they just made it because they did!
The teriyaki chicken is so juicy (see pic) yet not greasy that you don't need any sauce however they do have the best teriyaki sauce in town so I don't mind if I do; I recommend getting the sauce on the side with teriyaki regardless of where you get it.
And it's not just the teriyaki chicken, you can get a huge container of fried pork for $8.29! That's all fried pork, no rice, no noodles, no filler for the price you'd pay to get half as much of a less tender dried out version and another place.
I've never reviewed a Chinese take out place and am very stingy about giving out 5 stars but this place does inexpensive, delicious, premium quality much better than the rest. It's not a surprise that the owner operator run Chinatown Express using real food and family recipes would best the chains and quick wok places with absentee owners.response / report this review -

All food was very good. The Mongolian beef was as good as -- chinese sort of whatever you want to call it who cares -- food gets. People were very nice. They had super low prices. All great it really was.

Food is not condimented like I like it, it is also lacking color. The Chow Mein was light yellow ill looking, and so was the egg rolls sauce. Out of all the food I had I only ate the orange chicken, but in the middle of my lunch a bug landed on my plate so that was my signal to leave and never go back. The ladies were super nice but I would rather deal with rude staff than with bad food.
