A place if you want some really good home cooked food From Mexico not an elaborate place
Great pastor and asada. Reasonable taco prices. Try the meats on the tacos, then grab uncooked meats from the deli to enjoy later.
Great food and great service at an affordable price real authentic Mexican food
The food was excellent and the prices are even better. I cannot give 5 stars because I felt very uncomfortable while I was dining in. Guys at the bar were staring and sent me a drink from the bar. I did not touch the drink as I was alone and felt uncomfortable accepting it, but felt the stares the rest of the time I was there.
Excellent food, friendly staff and even a mariachi band every weekend. I love Catalina. My go to Mexican restaurant!
Delicous Mexican food with Good Mexican music and great looking waitresses.
Great authentic mexi food. Best tacos in the area.
Nothing fancy just really good now standing service always cooked food super friendly atmosphere
If you're looking for good authentic Mexican food this is the place, good portions at a reasonable price
Real, authentic Mexican food! Gotta say, even the atmosphere feels real! Not one of these fake hipster wanna be crapp Mexican joints!
Delicious food and PLENTY of it for an excellent price. Have been here many times and will be back many more!
Food is authentic mexican. No tex-mex here. This not for the average person. You'll have to be open-minded when going. This is a small local grocery store with a restaurant in back. Lots of tables and chairs. Home DJ plays music from his ipod attached to a big speaker.
Food is good and cheap.
I had tacos and shrimp cocktail (watery)
Staff is not customer service oriented.
They take cash or card.
Awesome food.. Great vibes.. Beautiful waitresses.. Big servings .. If u like Mexican or spanish cuisine.. This is the best. @ugfmatl twitter and ig
las meseras son muy mala gente. the restaurant staff is so rude and always have an attitude. they only are nice with the men and love to flirt with them. if you are nice they are mean no matter what.
Authentic Mexican Tacos. Catalina a mini grocery store and cantina in one. The grocery store sells fresh fruits, meat, snacks and even fresh bread. I have not tried those yet, but the real gem is in the cantina side of things. Dirt cheap tacos (1.50 each) that taste like south of the border. Favorites include Al Pastor (tomato marinated pork) and Lengua (Beef tongue). Don't be fooled by the price; two tacos is usually enough for me as they serve free flow nachos and a small bowl of soup when you get seated. Hands down the cheapest, yet one of the tastiest food around the airport.
The only downside it is a hole in the wall place that may scare some of you. Don't be such a bourgeoisie and come enjoy this amazingly affordable fare.
