  I've been here at least 10 times in the past few months and I've never been disappointed. The restaurant is clean and well-lit and you are seated quickly. The staff is super friendly and attentive, especially the owner, Tony. The food is great and reasonably priced, and since I like spicy food, they always make it to my liking with extra habanero peppers. This is my go-to for Asian food and I highly recommend it.

  They are so nice and quick. Their rolls have always been fresh and great variety. Their rice and noodles are awesome. They deliver. Need I go on. We eat here like twice a s week!

  Asian Star's current management and staff staff are working hard to provide great food and a nice, casual dining experience.
  
  I live close by and visited this place about 5 times in the past 2 months for lunches and dinners.
  
  Tonight, a friend and I decided to sit at the sushi bar. Sushi Chef Toni had his bar all set up with a beautiful little display of fresh ingredients. We didn't even bother looking at the menu. We just talked with him about what we liked and he just custom made one delicious dish after another.
  
  I took a few pictures of his inspired creations and am posting them here. I didn't get a picture of the first roll called the Woodstock Roll (I requested to not fry mine). It is a lovely roll with spicy tuna and cream cheese and bursting with flavor.
  
  He also made us salmon skin hand rolls (not on the menu) with two kinds of roe; Masago and ____.
  
  Toni even made us a Avacado desert roll (for those of us who like spicy tuna for desert). Not only was it beautiful, but very tasty.
  
  The chef was running a sushi special (50% off the second roll) and our bill was much less than I would have paid elsewhere. We left a huge tip for Allison, who kept our hot tea flowing and was a great conversationalist. What a fun night!
  
  I think this business has a poor past (I, too, stopped coming here after poor experiences years ago), but the current owners are really talented cooks, friendly, and very accommodating to requests. I am glad I gave this place another chance.

  I've been here, ordered takeout, and had food delivered from Asian Star and every time it is delicious. Their sushi is fresh and very well made. Tony makes the best rolls and really makes sure you're happy. I rode there tonight on my motorcycle and we chatted about it and had a great time. I really like that they get to know you by name. Tony and Santo were awesome.

  We went there for lunch and it was a most pleasant experience. The salmon sashimi was outstanding; the best I've had in a long time. Wife had a Chinese chicken dish, which was also very tasty. While their prices are very reasonable, the restaurant offers a very nice attractive atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

  Good, cheap Chinese food. The lunch menu has good choices and it comes with a lot of food (egg roll, soup, and rice). Delivery guys are always nice. This isn't a super fancy Chinese restaurant. It is that cheap Chinese food that makes your heart happy and clogs your arteries.
