Death has to be better than waiting at this er! Go anywhere but here! As I'm writing this we have been waiting 7 1/2 hours. We haven't seen a doctor! We're still in the waiting area. The service when we finally see a doctor could be the best I have ever had and I would still give it one star.

If I could give a negative 5 stars I would! I suffer from migraines and had been prescribed Vicodin as a treatment. I only get the prescription filled as needed which is about once a year for 30 pills. Not even close to being enough to be addicted to it. I suffered a migraine episode and didn't have my medication. I took my tablet into the ER with me so I could go to the health portal of my primary care network so they could see that I truly have a proscription and how often I take it, and that I wasn't some junkie. The doctor totally disregarded my health history and reused to give me just 1 pill to alleviate my pain. Instead I was hot up with 4 different pain medications within a 2 hour period. No of the medications worked, and long story short I was discharged and tole if the pain doesn't go away come back. Well 2 hours later I'm now drugged up, with a migraine. So I go back to the ER and they finally give me my regular medication. A month later I'm charged with 2 hospital visits!!!! Even after the doctor documented my conversation and experience, they told me I would be financially responsible for both charges. I told them that I should not be charged for the second visit since I was told to come back due to their doctor not giving me the care I needed. CMC was unconcerned about my experience and told me I would be responsible for both charges! I would NEVER go back into this hospital again. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Worst care. I was not given a real meal by staff for more than 24 hours. Claimed they didn’t have anything to give me because I am a vegetarian. Are you kidding? No eggs, toast, pb&j, potatoes, pastas, grits, or other simple food? (All of which was available right downstairs in cafe of course) Luckily I had visitors who were able to help handle the getting me food situation but the lack of empathy or understanding or genuine care from nurses was unreal. A few good gems for sure but overall very poor staff. Was hard to find any unit where they weren’t sitting around talking or on their cell phones.

This unit has the best Maternity ward. I had 3 of my children here and they are just lovely. The staff members are sweet caring wonderful people always making sure I'm comfortable and had wait I need. There is plenty of space for family visit and a pull down bed for one guest to sleep in. There is even a patio to sit and enjoy. The best part is the whirlpool tub.

This is by far the best hospital in the Pineville area!!!! everybody here giving negative ratings to this hospital Is an idiot and does not know what the hell quality service is..I guarantee you the ones complaining on here Are the just ratchet ass people ghetto ass lowlifes that just want every goddamn thing free with that being said and done customer service is A+ here I came to the emergency room and had a good experience with nurses and the doctor and my wife two days later gave birth here ..there’s nothing but A+ service here great nurses great doctors the only issue I had on here was with the cafeteria they need to work on the communication with patients when calling in for food other than that it’s a great hospital security is good doctors and nursesand if you have any issues there’s always someone to help

Cafeteria food is great IF they take your order
Went with wife for flu shot. Decided to eat there, as we have before. Food was pretty good quality and value, especially since she gets employee discount.
Stood at counter for at least two or three minutes while others were served. Not sure what the problem was.
Were we standing in the wrong place along the counter? Wrong clothes, wrong look, age, color, whatever?
Don't know - we just left.

The absolute WORST STAFF I have ever experienced at any hospital and this is years over years. It is almost like they pluck all the flunked out medical students and put them here. I won't list out all the issues that have been experienced over the past 7 or so years from family.. but just recently a triage nurse listed upper gastric pain as rib pain I cannot wrap my head around how these people still have jobs. I will continue to urge my family and friends to not go here! I would risk dying to get to Presby downtown before EVER consenting to being taken to this place.

Don't go here. Find somewhere else. I waited six hours in the waiting room and over an hour back in the room after being told I was fine. I even unhooked myself so that I could go to the bathroom. While I could hear the nurses goofing off.
I left feeling the same way I felt coming in just more tired.
Find somewhere else to go. The staff is nice but that isn't why I come to the hospital.response / report this review -

Every one I met while I was there from the people at the Front desk, to the surgeon who operated on me, were incredibly polite and kind and happy to help. Yes I had to wait longer than I would have liked him the emergency room, But they took care of me as quickly as they could. I am not sure who it was who held my hand when I woke up from the aesthetic, but it made a world of difference. I wish I could thank them in person.

Left feeling the way you came in. And extremely long wait times. Find a better one to go to. And my man went to go and tell them I wanted to just leave and the two nurses were sitting talking to one another instead of doing third jobs. Never coming here again.

I was in for dizziness and blurred vision on Sat and Wed. Both experience were great. All the staff and nurses that were attending me were professional and very nice. Even the cafeteria food was good. Highly recommend!!!

From the time we arrived in the ED everyone (security , support staff, volunteers, Nurses, Doctors, Nurse assistants, unit secretaries, lab, Respiratory, IV team, Phlebotomy, dietary. I am sure I have forgotten some one ) treated us wonderfully well. Thank you for making a very sad time in our lives as comfortable as it could have been. Your caring and support was amazing and very much appreciated.

Beyond the worst hospital if I can rate it zero stars I would. The nurses need a huge attitude adjustment my bf went there with the worst stomach pain to the point where he couldn't stand up. Was left in the waiting room for 7 hrs before being seen by a doc to put an iv on him and never saw the doc again. Was greeted by a disgusting nurse who clearly isn't fit for the job. I told him to get a nurse to remove the iv and find a better hospital. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to my worstenemy, 0 stars on my end. Beyond horrible. Do not go there!!!!!!!!!!
