This is a family favorite of movie theaters in the Charlotte area. Parking is convenient,
The facilities are well maintained, and the theaters have reclining theater chairs. What’s not to like when the price is comparable to theaters with less comfortable seating. Like most theaters, concessions are overpriced and average, at best. But who comes to theaters for the concessions? Helpful tip: buy your tickets online before you go where you can reserve your seats in advance. That lets you skip the lines and head right in.response / report this review -

Most showings here have very rowdy audiences. One movie a woman literally talked to the screen the entire time, and A Quiet Place was anything but quiet, a guy seated near me would whistle after every scene he liked and the front rows were filled with talkers.
AMC really needs to get involved, because it’s kind of a problem at this theater. Throw people out if you have to, they’re adults, they should know better!response / report this review -

This is a good theater if all you’re concerned about is seeing movies. Make sure you’re at least 25 minutes early because we’ve been here at least 30 times in the last year and not once was the concessions area very understaffed. They move incredibly slow and there are rarely less than 50 people waiting during an evening movie. 2 more registers makes a world of difference.

Very impressive. My son's spoke to me about the great experience they had watching a movie in recliners. Very comfortable seating. Well maintained cinema. Very modern. Sound you can actually feel with its deep bass. Highly recommended.

This is such a great place to enjoy a movie. Wonderful cinema and updated and modern seating with electric recliners. The bar is pretty cool to be in a movie theater. Haven't had a bad experience yet. I would highly recommend. I would also recommend purchasing your seats online, it shows you the seats available for that cinema showing. I would also recommend purchasing a few hours in advance. Haven't tried the food exactly, but popcorn is popcorn, and nachos and pretzels are.well yeah. Good place for a movie.

We have not been to this theater in several years. I really enjoyed all the upgrades. The seats are very comfortable. We enjoy being able to pick our seats before we enter the theater.
The upgraded food is also really nice. My wife has the cheese burger sliders and I had the chicken waffle sandwich. Both of us shared cheddar cheese popcorn. All the food was great. We look forward to going back.response / report this review -

I always come here to watch movies and I love that you can reserve seats online. The food is pretty pricey but getting AMC membership is worth it. On one hand, the bathrooms are clean but the theater rooms themselves arent the cleanest.

Nice theater. The bar was closed, so that was a disappointment. Please consider serving beer after 12noon. The snacks were yummy and freshly prepared. Everything is too expensive. Please consider a matinee combo for $20 that includes a ticket, small popcorn and drink. The seats are roomy and comfortable. Reclining seats are a movie going requirement for me nowsorry Studio Movie Grill. I found the staff to be friendly and professional. If you started serving alcohol after 12noon and brought food to the seats this would be the best theater in south Charlotte.

So if you're going to watch a movie you should at least watch it in style right well this place takes it over the top not only do they have the full concession stand as usual they also have a bar in the theater not only that when once you actually get into the theater itself it has cushioned reclining seats and I'm not talking about a lazy boy here I'm talking about an electronically reclining chair that is the most comfy thing I have ever sat in. The last time I took my girlfriend here she even fell asleep she was so comfortable. But the best thing about this place is the fact that it is the exact same price as Manchester Cinemas in Rock Hill it's like a luxury edition.

Very nicely appointed and clean cinema. Book ahead online to reserve specific seats in their comfortable reclining chairs. Cocktail bar is expensive, so why not just take in your own camel-bak filled with high proof grain spirits instead.

This theatre is one of the best that I have gone to, as it is clean, modern, and the seating is great. The seats recline electrically, and they are always cleaned before you come to watch a movie. The food there is slightly more expensive than I personally would like, but that's normal for movie theatres. The movies that are shown are always top-notch. I would recommend this theatre to anyone.

We always have a great experience here! I enjoy being able to reserve seats ahead of time and the seats are amazing! I had an exceptional experience last visit though. I purchased tickets for the wrong date in error and didn't realize this until my children and I showed up at the theater. The man at Guest Service spent time working with me to find tickets for the time we had intended. He was very patient with me and it worked out great!

I love this movie theater. Clean bathrooms, and everything else for the most part. They have done a better job getting friendlier staff members. I wish they can change the look outside also because the inside does not match the outside. Overall I enjoy it!
