This is a wonderful theater. Always has the latest new movies, has great family affordable prices and is kept very clean. Of only more places could be like this place.
5 Stars for the Price. If you are expecting a night of high class entertainment, you have come to the wrong place. If you are here to catch a movie on a big screen for a cheap price, then you are getting your monies worth. Buy popcorn, get a soda, don't get upset that the floors are sticky and enjoy a flic that you didn't pay $100 to see. This is a favorite little spot of mine and I plan to use it for what it is and enjoy every bit of it. I also have 3 small kids and they love going to the theater so what is not to love.
A great affordable movie theater as long as you dont expect it to be the same experience as a full price theater. The theater I sat in did not have stadium seating, but it wasn't crowded so there were plenty of ideal seats open. Staff was friendly and helpful, but there weren't a lot of employees working. Not a big deal though because of the low price. This is a great place to see movies on the big screen for a good price. I will be back.
This theater screens some really good movies, second run, which often means days away from first run. On this visit on Seniors Tuesday I paid $1.81 to see an Academy Award candidate, and it was wonderful. If I could fault the theater in any way, it's because the seats are not quite as new and fancy as in some of the big complexes. But leg roo is great and the screen is big and the sound and acoustics are first rate. I recommend it highly.
Not a bad theater. It had enough leg room for me and I'm pretty tall (6'4). The movie tickets were cheap but the food/drinks were a bit high though. A large drink was the same price as my movie ticket ($5.00). Service was quick and simple though for a Friday night. I'll probably go again one day.
Can't beat the price and never a long wait. Good popcorn and properly calibrated sodas. Clean restrooms. Parking lot is well lit.
Bathrooms and other decor will transport you to the early 1990s. However, for the price to watch second run or foreign films, why complain? Tuesdays are the cheapest day at films for $2. Other days the price is right below $3.50. Best price!
Decent $1.50 Movie Theater! The popcorn is always fresh n hot! I've been coming here since i was a little kid and it's still well kept pretty good!
I love this movie theatre! Best in Charlotte in price and experience. They just redid the seats, screens, and sound systems. Seats are so incredibly comfortable and recline. You won't be disappointed! Everyone who works here is so friendly and courteous, from the police officer to the guy who takes your ticket. Tuesday nights for $1.50 are the best deal in town. They get movies before they go to Redbox, and after the leave the theatre. I just wait till movies get here instead of ever going to the overpriced movie theatres. So thankful the city has this place!
Great inexpensive movie theater. It's not stadium style seating, but the chairs are comfortable. Also, I think at least most of the movies are digital now, so you don't have the worm, scratchy film look that you used to see when going to such a theater (I think that was because before, with traditional film reels, by the time it made it to the cheaper theaters the film had been played enough that it had some wear and tear that you just don't get with digital).
Good prices; tickets are $3 except on Tuesdays they are half priced. The employees are very nice and the theaters are usually pretty clean.
This movie theater is great for a cheap night out. They get the movies like 2 weeks after they've been released, making the tickets cheaper. The seats are pretty comfortable and squishy. They dont recline though. There is also a little arcade room inside the theater. It's kinda rundown and not a polished as some movies theaters but like I said, if you're trying to save money and still wanna go out. This is definently the place to go.
Not a bad looking movie theater. The ticket to see a movie is now $3.50 per person it still much cheaper then watching a new movie at regal cinemas theater where adult person you will pay between $10 and $15 just to see a regular non 3D movie. The cost of a large popcorn and a large soda was $12 that is $4 cheap then in regal cinema. Now the really bad part about the Cinmark movie theater as soon as you walked in to the theater as little as 15 minute before the movie supposed to get underway the light inside theater are off and it's extremely difficult to find where to seat.
Theater wasn't cleaned from previous showing. Screen was blank when movie was supposed to start, then discolored and distorted. They had to restart the whole thing to get working again. Employee didn't seem to believe me when I went to find someone. They did however provide us with passes for the next time we come out. So I guess that kind of made up for the movie not working properly. Def didn't make up for the disgusting theater we were sitting in though.
Great place to catch movies in a theater setting, but at a much more reasonable price.
The only catch is that you will not see the latest releases. Works great for the summer when the kids are home and need something to do
