Fancy hotel if you are into the high society scene. There is a dress code but I don't know if it's enforced

Very nice hotel. Salt water pool and go into the town and eat at Drum and quill. Get the Tacos.

The Carolina Room restaurant rivals at least and tops the vast majority of any top shelf Chicago or NYC dining experience!! This is THE place to celebrate, or if visiting, make it THE one memorable dining destination.

Stayed at the Inn several nights last year, and had a great experience. Couldn't wait to come back! Came again this year for several nights around Christmas, and it was a completely different experience. It is still beautifully decorated, but that's all it has to offer. I don't know if management has changed, but service was awful--hole in the wall, stopped up tub, housekeeping didn't show, and front desk was rude. Again, beautiful property, but certainly not worth the money. One star is one too many.

Always heard Christmas was special. It certainly is. Take a beautiful hotel and take it to the next level. I happen to be a resident of Pinehurst and was showing the hotel to out of town guests and we were treated the same as any high paying guest.
