Best theatre around .. the lazyboy seats are super .. the beer section is off the hook good .. the only thing that would make it unbelievable good would be lower the prices a little

My favorite theatre in Charlotte. I wish the screens were bigger, but the super plush seats reclining seats and craft beer make up for it. And make sure you order some Carolina fries. They are called something else now but they will know what you are referring to.

Best theater in Charlotte in my opinion.
The staff is very friendly, the seats are HUGE and the refreshments and snacks are very good.

They have a pretty darn good local beer selection, and they serve hot food to order. The buffalo tenders that I ordered were pretty tasty and had a good kick.

The seats were the best part. You have two options here. If you decide to sit toward the front of the theater you get a loveseat style setup, so make sure you are getting tickets for two if you select these. Otherwise you'll be getting very close with a stranger!
The seats in the back are the single seats that have plenty of room and they recline!

I'll never go to any other theater than this one if I can help it

Good pizza, really nice seats (comfortable electric recliner), eat ur food while u watch. Only issue is u can hear loud parts of the movies from theaters next to yours.

This is just about the only theatre we go to anymore. Order tickets ahead of time online (including choosing your seats so you can walk in right at start time), get a good local beer at a fair price, and recline all the way in nice chairs.

Seating is AWESOME at this place. Concessions can improve, specially the space and speed of service. Although they serve good beer. Generally clean and nice theater to go to, specially during matinee.

This is by far my favorite. It's very clean and modern. The most comfortable seats ever! They offer an array of menu items and they taste great. It's dinner and a movie. Great place for date (just not the first, cinema is not a good idea for first date!) This is my go to when it comes to watching a movie at the theaters.

Great place to see a movie! Extremely comfortable and large reclining seats with individual armrests and folding table tops for your drinks and/or food. They have reasonably priced wine (limited selection) and beer (better selection) on tap, and what looks like pretty good bar food. (I haven't tried the food, but I will one of these days). Highly recommended. Beats the heck out of Netflix!

Great concept, and good theater. We've had some technical issues (railings broken, reclining seats that don't work, etc) but other than that, we love the "assigned seats" option, and the couches and recliners are a huge upgrade from the theaters we used to go to. We'll keep going here and hopefully they'll up the level of maintenance in their theaters.

I love this theater. This is my families favorite. The seats all are recliners. Not your normal recliners. These are big and comfy. Also, you can pick your seats online before coming. The food is pretty good. I love both the Carolina and Chicago Dogs.

This place has come a LONG way from when I was a teenager and it was just "Movies at Crown Point". I definitely did not recognize it once I walked in. The beer selection was decent, as was the food. Of course, it was all severely overpriced, but you will find that at any cinema.
The theater itself was really impressive. The recliner was super comfortable, clean and significantly improved the movie-going experience. The swivel table and the button used to recline the chair back and forth were both functional. The one drawback I noticed about the particular auditorium that I was in, was that sounds from the adjacent auditorium could be easily heard during quieter times in the film I was watching. I am sure that many have experienced this before at other theaters, but this was far more noticeable than I have ever heard. The HVAC system in my auditorium was also quite loud.
Despite the noise, I would still recommend Carolina Cinemas to anyone looking for a fun outing.

Great experience every time, minus the employee behind the refreshment counter moving slower than molasses. Lost one star due to other consumers allowing their children to run around the theater during an R rated film, and nothing was done. Other than that.. great theater!
