Went to the Christmas Light Show. It was incredible. But for the general queues to reach the venue it takes about an hour. The express lane is better. $35 takes you quickly to the actual place

Great light show and movie. But whatever you do pay the extra $10 for express lane or you will be sat in your car for hours. Literally.
Great to drive the speedway track. Can't comment on Christmas village as we didn't visit.

I have loved coming here since I was a kid. Recently, I took my family to see the Christmas lights. This was our second time doing this, and it never disappoints. CMS is a great historic place that holds numerous events. It's worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Went here for the Christmas lights. I have been dragged out to so many of these things I could die. I can honestly say they did a hell of a good job here. I was actually pleased and glad I went. Even got to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! Spent $25 to get in on a donation night and spent 3 hours here. Not a bad 🌃

We went here for the Christmas light show on 12/ 2/2017 and we were not pleased at all. We usually go to Bristol motor speedway in lights and that’s absolutely amazing, we wanted to try something new this year and it was a huge disappointment, and the price is unreal. The only cool part was driving on the track which you can do at Bristol motor speedway as well. We won’t be back for the Christmas lights here. It was a let down. The money they make there , they could have a way better light show. I recommend going to Bristol motor speedway in Tennessee. The lights are amazing .

Parking was easy across from the track. $20. I was there for the Bank of America 500. Traffic coming in and out was smooth and easy. Daytona can learn from Charlotte Motor Speedway. I would definitely come back for the race here.

My son and I have been to quite a few car shows here. Staff and ticket people have been great to deal with, a real family atmosphere. Shows are well organized with lots to see. Owners of the cars love telling you about their baby.

Considering the capacity of the track they do a great job getting people in and out. There are a lot of great options for food and drinks inside, though the prices are a little high considering you can bring in your own. The races at Charlotte aren't exciting like they used to be, and maybe that is why the place has torn down half of the grandstands and converted others to bars and patios. It's a shame because it's a great facility. I'd love to see the home track of NASCAR back on top.

Been coming here for 7 years. Every year there has been less & less. Less decent food concession, less in the fan zone, leas in midway, less drivers wife's in the better half race, less access to infield with the pass. Mr Smith is suppose to be a promoter of the fans, that is far from what has been seen in the past 6 years. Wish it was 7 years ago.

I have been to the Speedway to see the beautiful Christmas lights display. This is an event that is not to be missed. They play music on your radio that goes with the light shows. There are tons of things to see and you can take your time with this. You can also go into the center and there are manger scenes, carnival type food, and promotions throughout.

Been here 2 years in a row, to camp for the Coca Cola 600. I'm not a huge racing fan but being able to watch it in person, is a whole new experience. Don't forget those ear plugs!!

People who needed handicap assistance had to wait more than 1 1/2 hours on side of road to get ride to their cars. Should set up a lane all around track so handicap transport would not be stuck in traffic. Needs a handicap parking lot close to the track. I would glady pay a reasonable price for a space.

Very disappointed with Charlotte motor speedway. Definitely sticking with Pocono going forward. I bought pit-passes for my kids and was not allowed in because they closed access early. Check the site around noon if you have put passes because they take full advantage of their "subject to change" disclaimer. They also won't let you in with a stroller, not even one of those little umbrella strollers. The people at the gate don't know what's going on and were pretty rude. The bathrooms are disgusting. There's also not much for your young ones to do. It took us an hour just to get out of the parking lot when the race was over. Such a clusterf*** because they shut the road down and there's only 1 way to exit the lot for about 5000 cars. The only thing I liked was you can actually see the entire track from your seat, you including the back straightaway. But we are officially a Pocono family.

I attended the 2017 Monster All-star Race which was an experience to be had. The speeds at which the drivers race are incomprehensible through a television. The challenge of parking at an event this size is to be expected. To ease the hike from car to speedway, they've conveniently placed shopping huts along the path. While these huts are placed to provide the things commonly forgotten (seat cushions, sun hats, ear plugs, ect.), they are not placed for comfort while shopping. Being that the huts are located so closely to the driveway there is inadequate spacing for shoppers vs. parkers. The downfall of this was the traffic directors inability to manage the crowd. I witnessed attendees be verbally assaulted and threatened in result of "walking in the road." A simple solution would be to allot more space between the booths and the driveway itself. Limited space is to be expected in events of this size, but why solicit sales where spacing is inadequate.
