Nice place on the Carlsbad ocean front. The rooms are nice but the structure feels a bit dated. It is located in the Carlsbad downtown area, and you have access to great food and some good craft beer

Extremely happy with our stay!! Clean rooms, tons of amenities, ocean view. Beach is steps away. Great shopping, variety of places to eat. Literally the best vacation spot I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying!! There’s trees that drop stuff on your car and it’s a pain to clean, but who cares when you’re here..by the water in the friendly beautiful town of Carlsbad

Old-school beach resort. Pretty decent value for the money. Great for kids. They have boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas right there on the beach -- check them out from their station. Viola -- no packing or carrying a lot of beach gear -- they do it for you. Also a ton of great dining options an easy walk from the hotel.

We had dinner during our vacation. Atmosphere was loud and the food mediocre. The food arrived in a timely fashion and was prepared okay. Prices were in line with other resort style restaurants in carlsbad. Our waiter was knowledgeable of the menu. He checked on us regularly and was courteous. I can only give 3 stars because of the overall experience was middle of the road at best. I should stick to more intimate restaurants because that style suits me. Others may like noise and a high pressure environment while they eat but I don't.

Have a time share here. Love it!!! Fantastic little 1 bedroom place with a kitchen and pull out bed in front room. It sleeps 4. The beach here is perfect if you are just learning to surf. The town has great shops. We always have a very relaxing stay here and I can brush up on my surfing skills for our next trip to Hawaii!!

Loved it! Great location to beach, food, and entertainment. All easy walking distance. Room was really nice. Staff very friendly. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful location. Really cute area with many restaurants and shops. I met friends here and we had lunch in the area. They said the room &facility was nice. Extremely close walk to a beautiful public beach.

The rooms are nice and the location is fantastic. It's right next to the beach and centrally located. The cleaning staff has been hit or miss as far as friendliness. The continental "breakfast" a complete joke though. It consists of crappy little second rate pastries and a limited selection of unripe fruit. No protein at all and for some reason they keep the beverages on a different floor.

Beautiful gardens, updated patio furniture, well maintained pool and Jacuzzis. Amazing ocean view. Walk out of the resort and across the street to the beach. Great restaurants, night life and shopping within walking distance.

Awesome property! Close to beach and pier. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Love the comfy beds and patio room. Valet parking is only option but convenient. Lots of fun stuff to do in the area. Breakfast was great. Thank you Ellie!

The rooms and beds were very comfortable, the showers were very nice. The parking situation was a little lacking. The staff weren't the most friendly but still helpful. The outdoor grass courtyard area was beautiful and very nice for hanging out all day.

Stayed here this past weekend and I would come back here again. The valet process was so easy. The service is on point. The bed is soon comfortable. Room service is pricey but the food is DELICIOUS!! The hotel is walking distance to Chinatown and little Italy. $5 cab ride to fisherman's wharf and ferry building
