Accommodation is priced Right the inn is suited near freeway and airport . Next to store and opposite to restaurants so nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and have both microwave and mini refrigerator. Friendly staff and also serves free breakfast in the morning. Only thing I didn't loved was the beds pillows and comforter. Bed was comfortable but pillows were smaller. Comforter for some reason was also pretty thin other wise very good on hindsight if I would have asked the room service will have replaced the pillows and comforter.
The Caravelle Inn is an insult to all the sense. The putrid smell that lingers within every crevasse is one that would rival an outhouse at Burning Man. The lingering feel of grime will layer itself upon you as you attempt to find a clean molecule within the living quarters. The cigarette taste will follow you wherever you may travel, whether it may be the broken jacuzzi, the-much-to-be-desired breakfast, or the annoyed staff. The constant view of broken appliances, cracked sidewalks and stray cats can be irritating at first, but by this point, your expectations are so low, they are below dinosaurs. Lastly, the sounds of pissed off employees are the most foreboding. The front desk is rude and is ok with you knowing it. The night time front desk staff will complain to you till your ears bleed. Also you can also expect calls on your cell phone with staff complaining for having two family members visiting for the evening. So if you haven't noticed, I had a terrible time at the Caravelle Inn. Avoid it at all costs.
The only nice thing I can say is we had good parking. We were given a huge metal key and when we walked into the room, it smelled! I went and bought a can of Febreeze and sprayed some perfume and the stench still could not be covered up. They're not being honest as the pictures must be from the 80's since they are so dated in person. The beds are super hard, the toilet leaked the whole time we were there. We were there for 3 nights and NOT ONCE did they clean our room. We were told that the cleaning ladies are lazy but after reading other reviews, this is their game. Upon checkout, we were told to stay at Holiday Inn Express next time which is pretty sad, you would think they would WANT customers. This place should be shut down. They got away with our money this time but will NEVER stay at this motel again!
Had a great experience with the staff, I arrived late for the morning breakfast, and the front desk guy, rolled it all back out so I could help my self and get something to eat. The rooms are old, but not dirty old. Location to the airport perfect. The Smokin Pig BBQ is just a few blocks away and there is a liquor/convenient store is next door to the Inn, with its usual cast of characters after hours. The pools were clean and well maintainedall in all good stay. I would recommend.
Very normal room. Expect motel standard. AC in our room wasn't working. But it was cool outside so we didn't bother. I wouldn't imagine staying there in summer. It was a quick stay, so cannot comment on breakfast or much else.
Meh. This place is about as low quality and shabby as it gets without me demanding my money back and finding a different hotel. The barely competent front desk staff gave us a huge metal key for our room, we went to check it out only to find out housekeeping had not cleaned it yet from the last guest, so we had to wait for them to finish. The bed is hard. I had to program the remote to work with the TV. The shower takes about 5 full minutes to get warm. The toilet seat looks like it was made for the ass of an infant. The neighborhood is shady AF. However, we had 4 walls and working AC, so there's that.
I dropped of my mother in law at hotel. She had complained of a homeless person following her to her room at night and feeling unsafe during her stay. She also heard gunshots one night. Not a great experience at this hotel for what she paid.
Room was kinda small for the price. The shampoo and soap didn't feel so good so I'd suggest take your own.
Very comfortable and cozy. Take a bus to downtown and a convenient 7-11 nearby. If you need something from staff just ask
The staff was kind and courteous. Very quiet and enjoyable. Will not hesitate to stay again!
Terrible!!! We found cockroaches in our beds. When we asked if we could get a refund they refused. Gave us a $10 credit. That was it. You could see through the door cracks and the walls looked like they were going to just fall apart. There were bar of soaps used in the shower with pubic hairs on it. The beds looked and sounded like they were going to fall apart. Just an awful experience. Definitely waaaaay over priced. Shouldnt even be allowed to be open. The rooms smelled terrible. I would NOT stay here!!!
