I have mixed feelings. The service is just bad but I keep going back because the sandwiches taste great.

Edit: I'm bumping by review down from 3 stars to 1 star. I just about walked out the door with a rotting sandwich before the guy in the kitchen yelled to me that the sandwich I was given was from the night before. How a mayo/turkey sandwich gets left on the counter for 20 hours with no one taking it upon themselves to toss it is beyond me.

REVISED: Went back last Wednesday at 6:30 pm (said they would close at 8:00pm) and not a trace of a human being. 1 star.

Great food, terrible service. Expect to be shouted at for your order and vice versa. The guy behind the counter asked if the woman could live without coleslaw on her capastrami. They were out??? And the guy proceeds to let the entire restaurant know that "they were supposed to make it the night before". Oh, also, they weren't open at 10:30 so we went to Barriques across the street for a drink. If you're going to open late say so. Wonder how this chain is surviving. Corporate needs to crack down or something. I don't expect great service with great food but this is terrible.

Went there a few weekends ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The area was very clean, the place was full of customers and we were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in the door. We waited about 15 minutes for out food to be prepared and after reviewing these comments I think people need to understand the concept that this is not "fast food" It's not premade it is made once you order. For our family of 4 the meals were made quickly and wonderfully and we will definitely be returning!

I went in for lunch on a Friday and ordered the Thanksgiving Sandwich (Bobbie I believe it was called). The sandwich only took maybe 5 minutes to make and it was quite delicious. There are numerous comments about poor customer service but I received nothing but excellent customer service during my experience. The gentleman who took my order was very nice and walked out to my table to hand the sandwich to me when it was ready. And as I was eating I was observing another gentleman at the register who was going out of his way to wish every customer a nice day and weekend. I rarely ever see this in a fast food/fast casual setting. Overall, I have no complaints and I plan on returning when I'm feeling a sandwich in the area.

I stopped by Capriotti's on a whim when I discovered that the salad spot that used to be in the same strip is no longer open. The service was very slow but seemed friendly. I ordered a Cheese Steak and it took around 10 minutes to come out. This seemed very slow for a restaurant that was essentially empty (it was me a family of 3 and an employee eating at the time). The sandwich was hot and flavorful, but the bread it came on was a bit overwhelming. The amount of meat was good, and the sweet peppers added a nice touch.
Overall compared to other hot sandwich restaurants I have been to around the country (Great Steak and Potato Company, Penn Station, Charlie's) this was the least impressive.
