German food and decor that makes me feel like I am visiting Grandma's. It feels like the perfect place to come in from the cold and unwind after a long day.

Excellent German food in a supper club format. There is an inviting bar area where you can drink a German beer and relax while waiting for your table.

Authentic old world style, food, drinks and hospitality. First Monday of the month is smorgasbord buffet and oompa band. Well worth the $18 price.

A lovely hidden treasure. Facility is exactly what I look for in a Supper Club. Food was pretty good, reasonably priced and there was a salad bar! Definitely will return.

We came on a Friday and the wait was over an hour. We ordered to go and got a drink at the bar. Typical supper club drinks. They had a Roasted Turtle special during Lent and we just had to try it.
The meal came with fritters, mashed potatoes , carrots and Cole slaw for $16.95. The meat was tender but came with bones and bone chips so you had to be careful when eating. If you like chicken you would like turtle.
I was hoping the fritters would be my favorite corn fritters but were more like a fried dough. No corn. So I was a little disappointed No honey butter nor plastic utensils were provided.
Still, this is one of those long standing supper clubs that you should at least try once. If nothing else, for the deer heads hanging on the wall. The people are friendly and our order was delivered to the bar in short order.
I miss German food as I lived in Germany. Dorf Haus doesn't really satisfy my German food jones, but it is close enough to bring back some memories.response / report this review -

Old-fashioned Wisconsin supper club with a German theme. Staff is friendly and helpful, great little salad bar, food was delicious. They make a great Old Fashioned cocktail!
