Love the comfort food. Love the atmosphere in the Summer. Winter is cold because of all the windows so the food doesn't stay warmgood thing it all tastes goid. Staff is wonderful.

I've been here twice and had great experiences both times. The food is excellent. They have a great pie selection. Service was good. The place was clean. It had a very good atmosphere. We had to wait about 20 minutes when we went on a Saturday around 11am.

This is not a fancy place, it’s sort of a retro-type diner, but don’t let that fool you. The food is delicious and good sized portions. This is a family-friendly restaurant. The parking lot isn’t big but I’ve never had a parking problem. I love visiting this place.

Every side dish, cup of soup, slice of pie, or entree I've tried over the last 5 years has been wonderful. Their food is well made using fresh ingredients and the diner is homey. If you go during a typical peak time, you'll likely wait for 30 minutes, but with free coffee, it is just fine!
Their Reuben is my particular favorite, but I've also had their waffles, turkey dinner, quesadilla, chicken pot pie, and their delicious chicken tenders (just a few that I can think of on the spot). Seriously, go here! You'll not regret it!response / report this review -

I want to eat every food here. The turkey garden burger was amazing and generous on the avocado. My husband's Reuben was the best Reuben I've ever tasted. The curried squash soup was perfection and I will crave it every day of fall/winter. We haven't tried the pumpkin pie we brought home yet but the enormous rainbow sugar cookie my son got was perfect in flavour and texture. This place is a gem.

A fun and delicious place to eat with a group of friends or your family. Prices are fair. List of desserts is to die for! Service can be not so friendly sometimes but this is a great place to bring your child to celebrate with a great burger and an amazing piece of pie!!!

The food was very good and the service was OK. Our server didn't seem to have the knowledge about the menu I would have hoped for, especially the pies. She also didn't have very good communication skills and her accent was difficult to understand. The food came super fast and our waitress was attentive.

Go on Fried Chicken Thursdays! Best fried chicken and mashed potatoes ever. I am not giving 5 stars because they food could have been served hotter, but it was still delicious. If you like pie, you will have a hard time selecting as there are so many choices.

This place is as close to traveling back in time as you can get. The foods great, the atmosphere, equally that of the 50s and 60s. and the personnel is as friendly and down home as I can remember way back when.

coffee was terrible but with enough cream &sugar it's palatable. the waitress was very good, however, THE FOOD WAS COLD!!! I guess people go there for the atmosphere because it's look great. Maybe it was a bad day but I'm not going back.

We usually head here on Sunday morning. There can be a wait so plan to be patient. I great place to eat and good desserts. Recommended.

If you want good, delicious, pie in a variety of flavors, this is the place to go. In addition, they have amazing food for all times of day. I've never been disappointed in the food I got there. It can be busy around peak times, but I never felt as those the staff forgot about people or neglected them. They sincerely worked quickly to get people what they needed, and I never felt rushed, even if there were other people waiting.

s like I've stumbled into my own "breakfast porn" spot. Don't get me wrong as there is not sex involved, this place just has a lot of what makes me Comfortable. To start, I could have been subjected to the hotels $12.99 cattle call breakfast "buffet" but fortunately there wasn't a single seat available.
The front desk person sent me here, and for that I owe her a debt of gratitude. A new building, designed as an Art Deck dinner, they got that spot on for the casual art and Architecture buff. Equipped with an expansive wrap around walk up/sit down counter and expansive natural lighting and better yet They supply coat racks Holy Crap Batman. No one does that anymore.
Got her on a Sunday mid morning and was able to park right outside the front door. So either this packed place has ample parking OR they have a nice size parking lotresponse / report this review -

Cheap Food & Bad Service. There was once a time going to Hubbard Avenue Diner meant skipping breakfast and lunch and eating a decent brunch comprised of things that could not be cooked at home and coming out satisfied. Those times are gone. Their ingredients have gotten cheaper and unhealthier over the years and their cooking is done by cheap help that is focused on volume rather than quality. First of the wait was 45 minutes and those are long minutes with a 2.5 yr old. No problem. Other hungry customers were so rude that they didn't allow my 7 month pregnant wife a place to sit on an empty seat between occupied ones. Probably racially motivated. No problem. They sat two parties who came behind us and claimed that someone had crossed out my name by mistake. Problem. They gave us a table that was still dirty and wiped it off with a dirty rag that left those white dry streaks. problem. The bacon strips were raw. Problem. My kids toast was burnt. Problem. My omelet was topped off with a can of diced raw cold tomatoes complete with water from the can, such that everything on the plate was soaking in tomato water. So basically take an omelet, hash-bowns and toast now put them on a plate which has 1/2 inch of tomato water.yum what delicious brunch. Not. Asked the waitress to change it and she said that's how it is served.
It has basically turned into a cheap food place with lots of fat obnoxious customers. Never going back.response / report this review
