Looks like a great place! I only bought a gift card, but the service was quick! Next time I’ll stay for dinner and an old fashion!

To start, full parking lot, very busy at 5:30, but was able to get drinks right away, and a server was able to take dozens of offers and was able to keep them straight. We were very impressed with not only that, but the rest of the service.

You will find an older crowd here with a spattering of 20 and 30-somethings. This place is busy for dinner but has a first come first serve policy. The drinks are good and the food is too. Each table is set with veggies, bread, pickles, crackers and cinnamon rolls. It is like stepping back into 1980 in a good way. The place is clean and has great service. You can wear a prom dress or jean shorts. If you are millennial that loves supper clubs, this place is a must. The only downside is the popcorn at the bar is microwaved. A popcorn machine would be slightly better. Highly recommended.

After a 2 hour wait (and a couple old fashioneds to help pass the time) we finally got a seat and were able to order our fish fry. Everything was extremely delicious and great value. Plan to spend a lot of time waiting if you come for supper on Friday. Men's bathroom is quite awkward

The fish fry is the best in the area - delicious and no grease residue on your plate. The staff are amazing. I don't know how they do it on a Friday night. I think the bartenders run the show. They're able to keep up with a bar that's 4 deep without a problem. Plus when our female bartender found out a waitress hadn't taken our dinner order yet, she had someone there immediately to take the order. Toby's is the best in every way!

I look forward to my trip to Tobey's every time I travel to Madison. Although it may not look like much, this place has a warm and cozy appeal with an incredibly friendly staff as well. The food is excellent and the drinks are well poured. I have a wonderful experience each and every time. I look forward to my next trip to Madison so I can enjoy the amazing food and service! Cheers!

Wonderful, busy, Saturday night supper club experience. Pickles, carrots, radish served with rolls even before you order. Lots of varieties of fish. Perch was overcooked, but light breading and the seasoning was well done. We'll be back here again for sure.

I have been going to Toby's since 1996 and have yet to be disappointed. The food has been consistently delicious. The staff wonderful. Even though there are weekly specials, the menu hasn't changed either. It is one of the best smaller Wisconsin supper clubs left around. The Friday night fish fry is my favorite.

However, you need to get there at 5 in order to get a seat on a Friday night. Otherwise its standing room only and a good hour delay to get seated. But well worth the wait!

Decent supper club. They have a different way of doing things. When you arrive you place your order at the bar and then when your food is about ready they seat you. Friday and Saturday nights are crazy. We waited for two hours. Luckily the drinks are strong and cheap.

My Favorite place! Best thing on the menu is their pan fried chicken. It just melts in your mouth. Perfect drinks! The bartenders are beyond seasoned they are the best! Pork rib eye with apple sauce is bomb!

Long wait to get a table usually but that says something. Its worth the 45min.

This is a CLASSIC supper club, great drinks & great basic food for the price! We moved out of state and miss the supper club atmosphere. Walked in the door on a Saturday night and felt right at home - LOVED it. Bar tenders know how to make drinks (yes a classic Old Fashion), and the food met our expectations. If you are looking for a quiet fancy dinner - not the place. If you want to meet friends (or meet new one's just belly up to the bar and talk to your neighbor), be able to laugh, drink and eat for a good value - THIS IS the PLACE!
