Clean, older facility. Staff friendly with nice large suites. Very quite. Directly across mall with many restaurants

I have used this IHG establishment twice prior to my last visit. Those visit would have earned them 4 stars, but this time they get less than 1 star if possible.
When I went to bed around midnight the day of my arrival, I noticed a booger on the comforter and what appeared to be pubic hairs on the sheet. I didn't sleep between the covers and had a blanket in the car that I used for that Friday night. The next morning I mentioned it to the front desk and asked that they freshen up my bed linens because they obviously hadn't been changed since previous visitor. I was told they only change the sheets every 7 days. Meaning if you check in before the 7 day change out you are sleeping on someone else's sheets.
When I returned that evening I took pictures of the sheets and comforter to report. Until this past visit I would have recommended this hotel and franchise, but no more. If you want a no tell motel this is it.response / report this review -

I've stayed at this hotel several times. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I've never had a bad experience here. The location may be difficult to see from the road, but it is close to shopping malls and lots of food. The rooms are always clean and you can borrow games and movies from the front desk if you get bored.

Quiet neighborhood, very close to downtown, and around the corner from the mall. A new visitor from the other Carolina and I have to say this was one of my better choices for a hotel. Would definitely recommend.

The rooms are comfortable and veey clea. When i checked in the manager helped me and was very efficient. Plus, the location is very good. There are numerous restaurants and plenty of places to shop with a localized area. Id recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here a few times now. Don't have any complaints, always been great. Nice having a mall across the street and a bunch of restaurants nearby.

Love the quiet, and peaceful setting, being right off major hwy, you would never know. There are several things I would do like adding additional outdoor benches, or table's. Booking through it booking agent, there were a few delay s.

Friendly staff, clean, convenient, and inexpensive. Surprisingly nice workout facility, and the lending library where you can borrow appliances and other items you may need. Stone's throw from Crabtree Mall.

Best hotel I've been to for the price! Kitchenette really makes the room come together. It was like a little apartment. I could definitely see myself returning!

I stayed at Candlewood Suites for a week on a work trip. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable with incredible pillows. The rooms have a full sized fridge, a dishwasher, a cooktop, pots and pans and utensils, and a toaster. There are other appliances available for use, also. There is a gym and free laundry equipment. They also have a "pantry" that is open 24/7 for guests to purchase snacks and toiletries. It is located directly across the road from the Crabtree Mall, within walking distance. My stay was very enjoyable and I look forward to returning.

LOVE this hotel! I am currently running 100 Marathons in 100 Days for 100 Charities. I am working my way across the country, spending 5-8 days in 16 different cities. I have stayed in 9 other hotels along my journey. This has been the best! Sure, my suit in Vegas and hotel in New Orleans were more fun, but nothing beats the comfort of this hotel and the amazing staff! I'll repeat the last part again, the staff is amazing! Helpful. Friendly. It is like staying in a bed n breakfast. The rooms are great. Kitchen is modern and great for a multiple day or multiple week stay. Bathroom is a decent size. Plenty of storage areas with a large closet. It is not fancy, but it will feel like home. Also, did I mention FREEEE24/7 coffee??? Last, the location is great. It is right off a main highway and within a few minutes of other main highways/roads, and depending on traffic it is 5-15 minutes to downtown.
