Affordable, was my goal in finding a room for Christmas morning. My exwife decided she wanted to have Christmas morning with her bf, and my kid, leaving me out of that terrible mix. I booked the room on a third party booking app, as my eyes swelled from the angry and disappointing tears that rolled down my face, and through this water wall I was able to see the price was very reasonable.

I still had to work before my stay, a six hour shift that ended at 1am, so before work I put on a brave face, washed the salty tears from my face and went to check in to the room.

Kevin, the man at the front desk, was courteous and knowledgeable, and although he did not mention it, I felt he knew that my very soul had been torn from this shell of a body, and cruelly torn into pieces before being stuffed back into my throat for me to continually choke on like some sort of spititual water boarding. He gave me a room on the second floor.

I finished my shift, and returned to find a clean, spacious, hotel suite. The emptiness, the room available for more then just myself was not lost on me as I used the comfortably designed, super clean toilet while weeping. The adjustable shower head, the water pressure and water temperature were all above average as I angrily tried to scrub away the loneliness, desperate shame that crawled over my skin like a poisonous rash. Altgough 4 towels were available, I only used 1, as I noticed the full sized refrigerator, microwave, and two burner stovetop as well as the neccessary tool to use these amenities.

I redressed, and took a quick trip to the local 24hr McDonalds, passing many other restuarants and shops that are located close to the hotel. Being, Christmas, only the McDonalds and QT were open at that time. Having the refrigerator I purchased several sandwiches, which only made me sad as it reminded me that I was alone. And as my emotions welled and then overflowed and spilled from me, the nice woman at McDonalds pointed out that I could not sit in the drive thru lane. So I returned to the hotel room. The large screen tv, had a clear crisp picture as it attacked me with images of happy families at the holidays. The room came with a standard telephone, which had to dial a 9 before calling the toll free number for the suicide prevention hotline. There was a thirty minute wait for the next counselor, so I ended the call and ate my mcdonalds with the tv off.

The bed and linens were clean, comfortable yet still caused a clutch in my stomache as I cried myself to sleep in the half empty queen bed.

Check out the next morning was quick, and easy. Would definately stay there again, unless I really wanted to hate myself and stay at the fleabag Motel were a catfish stole $200 from me a couple of weeks ago.

I've stayed here quite a few times and always had a good experience. With that being said on this particular trip I show up with confirmation in hand and am told that my reservation was canceled for unknown reasons by their central reservation center in Utah. Of course booked solid, no rooms available due to the College Football National Championship game. Thankfully I knew of a colleague also staying here so I crashed on the recliner in his room. Needless to say not a great start to the week. Did get a room for nights 2 onward but I still find it totally unacceptable my reservation was canceled and I did not receive any email or phone call inquiring or notifying me. I was offered some reward points "for my trouble" but I still plan on taking this matter up with them at the corporate level as a confirmation from IHG is in fact NOT a confirmation, I guess they took a page from the airlines and now overbook and cancel without notice to the customer. Be prepared to sleep in your vehicle as it could happen to you, thank God a coworker took pity on me.

This was an excellent place to stay..very close to the highway. Stores. Restaurants..very clean. Staff was more than helpful. Free laundry. I would definelty recommend this to all they didnt clean every day but if there was anything,,,,anything we needed they ere there for us

Loves this place. I understand its a more long term stay hotel, but i wish the house keepers would have at least came to empty out the trash cans at least.

This was a great extended stay hotel. Next to the freeway so easy to get to. Great and friendly staff. Kitchen had everything I needed. Love the extra in the lending cabinet. I recommend for your stay in Phoenix.
