Nice quiet hotel in North Austin. Room was large. Nice gym. Close proximity to downtown. Reasonable rate.
Nice area close to a lot of stores and restaurants and nice rooms
Spent 2 nights at this location for a weekend getaway using my rewards night points. Although this is not my preferred Marriott property, it is acceptable for business or pleasure. The room seemed newer remodeling and the full studio kitchen has everything you need. If not already in the room you can check the items out from the locker on the first floor. There was ample parking, great staff, and only about 20 minutes to downtown Austin. So you can avoid the high price in-city hotels and still enjoy the area. However, right across the street is a theater, and the high priced shops of the Arboretum are less than 5 minutes drive. Would recommend and stay again if needed. Video of the room on the Youtube Channel.
Great value! All the comforts of home without costing an arm and a leg. Loved the little touches from management, and I loved the huge workspace in the rooms. Really let me spread out and get work done.
Nice and clean! Located in a good spot too. We walked to a couple restaurants, a theater is right across the street, and a shopping center just down the road. It does smell weird in the halls and the decor is a little dated, but it is an older hotel suite. All in all, a very pleasant place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.
This place is great if you’d like to bring back bedbugs or finally get to see cockroach eggs up close and personal.
Rooms are okay. Recently renovated. Pet friendly and quiet.
The staff is absolutely outstanding and the rooms are nice. I have no complaints.
Lovely place to stay. Nice roons, nice staff. Super love their littlw store and free laundry
The ambiance was great! I walked in a felt comfortable immediately. They even had water and juice for the guests in the front lobby.
The hotel is out of Austin center. The rooms are excellent and clean. The staff very friendly. I definitely recommend it
I spent two nights here recently while undergoing day surgery in Austin. The location was perfect for my doctor's facility, and is great for pretty much anywhere in the northwest Austin / 183 corridor.
As has been mentioned many times, the staff and service are outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxed, and all the guests I met or encountered seemed pretty happy. This is an extended stay operation, but with short-term rentals - I don't know if long stays are differently priced; the prices were reasonable for short term but would be on the high side for longer stays.
My room was well-equipped for a longer stay, right down to the utensils and cleaning supplies (paper towels!). I found the bed to be very comfortable, and the room layout was efficient and pleasing. The bathroom is impressive, with new and stylish accoutrements, and the hot water comes quickly when summoned. Towels are excellent quality, and the washcloths are the nicest I've EVER found in an inexpensive hotel/motel. One really nice touch is the pull-out and swivel wall mount for the reasonably-sized and placed TV. Contrary to what I read in another review, my room came with a channel guide clearly pinned to the bulletin board - along with some other interesting and informative tidbits of information. Unfortunately the cable service seems not to come with a channel guide for what is playing now.
The parking lot is large, well-lighted, reasonably secluded from the street and easy to navigate and park in a truck. The hotel is situated in a commercial area of semi-upscale shopping centers and restaurants, all verged with an abundance of greenery. It feels to me like an island of semi-tranquility nestled in one of the busiest areas of Austin.
I found a small amount of dust on some unused bathroom shelves; they would have been easy to wipe down (it took me about 20 seconds). The only real detractor I found was a lingering odor of old tobacco smoke in the elevators. Other than that it was a decent, reasonable and well-located establishment.
Recommended.
Love this hotel. Location is perfect for hitting all the good spots in Austin within 20 minutes or less. Yes, even with Austin traffic. Movie theater across the street and every store or restaurant imaginable very close by. And, my dog is welcomed! Staff is always very friendly and attentive.
