If it weren’t for the rude people working up front I think I might like this place. Camping world does have a great selection of Rv parts and accessories but the people who work here aren’t friendly or do they seem as if they care about the customer at all. Also better check every single item you are about to buy out at their store online . most of the time it’s cheaper on there and u just have to show the person at the register to get the discount. That is if u have the membership with them

The absolute worst customer service i ever experienced. Gave this place more than a few chances always the same result. Never going back. Called today to get a price on a simple part. Lady in the service department seemed bothered that i was calling. I was put on hold and eventually hung up on. Avoid this place like the plague. Been to other CW locations throughout the country. Never had a problem. This one needs to clear house including the store manager.

These folks provided a completely professional experience for my wife and I when we decided to purchase our first camper. It was an engaging and educational presentation they provided and they were very patient answering our many questions. The parts store is a delight to shop in and appears to have everything you will need to outfit your purchase. We feel we made the right decision when we bought from Camping World and we will visit them when we decide to upgrade in the future.

The people at Camping World were great to work with..We had initially chosen one model and put money down but after getting home and thinking about it we changed our minds. We called them canceled the first RV and ordered another. We wanted to pickup that RV on the same day as we had planned for the first ---No problem. The extra equipment we had ordered was put on, the unit was cleaned and ready for us! We received a thorough orientation to our unit. The finance gentleman was terrific and very clear in explanation, took his time. Mr Gnap did not pressure or high sale us. Our sales person Jeff , was one of the best sales encounters we have ever experienced. Helpful, patient and NOT pushy.
Our over all experience with every one ,sales person. finance and office was a 5 star.

Great selection of campers. Found the perfect one to fit our needs. Our salesman Jeff was upfront and honest with us and only showed the trailers that suited our needs. He was courteous and friendly going above and beyond his duties. Put the camper in a price range we could afford. Staff in the camper store were helpful and friendly. Camper was missing few parts and the parts staff fixed the problem promptly. Our experience with Camper World was an excellent one. Hope they stay that way down the road when and if something else happens. Would recommend going there to look at the variety and getting a price quote. Have had very bad experiences at other sellers and this was the best out there. Thanks to all who helped us make the sale happen.

Arrived, greeted by Nick (only there for a month) very nice and did a great job for us. We found a camper we liked, got numbers, filled out a application (campers were dirty compared to other dealers we were at). The second guy came in ( Vince) nice to talk to. Then the third guy came in and was rude and pushy, I asked for my application back. When we left we went to General RV, bought a camper within 2 hours. We spent more money, got more for the trade and signed the papers. Again Nick was Great and please thank him!!!!!

This dealership is full of games and I do not recommend going there for anything. I tried buying a trailer there and the sales woman I was dealing with lied to me multiple times about prices and played her sales person games with me so I have decided not to buy anything from them and just wanted to let people know what they might be in for if you go there.

I read the reviews, but thought it can't be too bad. And it wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either. I emailed a week in advance to tell them when I was coming and what I wanted to look at. I got three different emails back and i told all three what I wanted to look at, and never heard back from any of them. When I showed they did not have any of the campers I wanted to look at ready. The salesman couldn't even find the new one I wanted to look at, and when he did it was parked in the mud and he didn't open the beds (hybrid). We really liked it but I am not going to make a decision without seeing the whole thing. The whole pricing it for me was aweful as well. They did not want to deal. So we drove 10 miles south to another dealer who had called me twice to make sure he had ready what I wanted to see. He had everything ready and OPEN!!! Novel idea. Within an hour we made a deal and out a nice chunk of deposit down on an nice RV. They were ready and ready to deal, unlike Camping World.

Looks nice, but service is horrible. We bought a new mattress from their store after they measured our frame and they recommended a short mattress due to the slideout. The mattress was the wrong size but they would not take it back because we threw away the box after opening it at home and installed the mattress. That is when we discovered the mattress was too short.

Repair and servicing of resold used RV's is shocking. Our nice used RV we bought from them was not ready for pickup as promised and they tried to charge us for work that was covered under the extended warranty they sold us. Plus they charged us for cleaning the interior, but they never touched it. I found mouse poo inside the drawers, the windows were a mess and interior lights did not work. After beimg assured the unit was ready, We spent hours watching them scurry around making all the repairs so we could take the RV home. Then when we got it home we found a gas leak at the generator. The simple answer here is Do not succumb to their BS, walk away.

You have been forewarned! Make sure what they say and offer is in writing. There are better dealers in the area that will treat you with respectNot This dealer!

My RV was very nice. However, I was new as a buyer and our needs weren't well defined when I chose the used RV. I returned this year to Camping World (1 year after purchase) and was told flatly, "You are upside down in your mortgage on this unit. There is nothing we can do." To which I responded, then we paid too much for this unit? The answer was "No," you owe too much." So I paid too much? Answer again "No". In one year my unit was devalued so much that I couldn't turn it around in a newer or more accommodating unit.

This weekend, four months later, I found out that I probably did pay too much for my first RV from Camping World, and a different dealer was able to help me meet our needs in a larger bit more expensive unit while wrapping the balance of the mortgage of the first one into the next RV payment. I am disappointed because it's just wrong to take advantage of people who are new to the market just because you can.

Truly, buyer beware. Shop around. Compare the one you like on the internet and with other dealers like General RV. I had to add a star to post- my experience was not worth that.

Do not go here to shop for an RV. The bad reviews are correct. If you don't buy they get angry.we needed for out We went to look at a 2017 Mercedes Forest River model that listed at 130K. Our salesman was a guy named Tim. After going over the vehicle, test driving it we really liked it but we're not going to make a decision to buy that day. Had to check out the towing capacity. Towing was less than we needed for our motorcycle trailer. So texted Tim and declined due to the towing capacity. The guy had the nerve to get angry because we did not want it. I would never go back there. I will spend money elsewhere. The reviews are right. STAY AWAY FROM AKRON CAMPING WORLD. NOT PROFESSIONAL.
