Quiet, tucked away hotel within 5-7 minutes walking distance to the plaza. Comfy, cozy beds and pillows. No elevator for luggage, but we didn't mind! Staff was always incredibly friendly as we walked in the lobby. Breakfast (free) hit the spot every morning. Complimentary wine and cheese happy hour was a big plus, too! We traveled with two young children and they liked the breakfast buffet and cheese/snacks during happy hour. Highly recommend this place!

Lots of "nice" with a few exceptions.nice and super roomy accommodations and very quiet area, nice location-- centrally located to center of town, nice breakfast and loved the gluten free baked goods, nice shuttle--used it to check out the folk art museum (available to guests within a 3 mile radius), nice pillows--bed was just ok, nice & large soaps, shampoo/conditioner/body lotion. Just a few cons: the pull-out bed's mattress was awful, was hoping they had a topper to put over mattress, so tall child had to opt for sleeping on love seat. The mini fridge compressor continually was awakening us throughout the night, as it turned on and off. Overall, a good place to stay!

Charming hotel with outstanding staff. Nice onsite restaurant with a varied menu. Liked the location, across from a walking trail and a nice stroll to the square.

Couldn't have been happier with our stay! Wonderful location; close to Plaza Park and St. Francis Cathedral. It feels like a boutique hotel perfectly suited to Santa Fe. Charming layout. Our room was delightful. We ate several meals there and everything was prepared perfectly. And, most of all, the staff was engaging, professional, helpful and genuinely friendly. We are thrilled that we chose to stay there and would love to return.

What a charming place! Inn on the Alameda is ideally situated between the Plaza district downtown and the Canyon Road strip. The property is cozily and tastefully decorated, with unique accents and art everywhere. My room was very comfortable and clean. Free breakfast and wine and cheese happy hour were tremendous added value, as was the complimentary shuttle service — a lifesaver for the car-free traveler. The staff were delightful and helpful in every interaction I had with them. I didn’t get to stay at La Fonda, but on the basis of my experience, Inn on the Alameda will have my business in the future.

Every night there was a free wine tasting with live music qnd outdoor seating, The rooms were very nice, The hotel is located near the town 5/5 great time. Ps i recommend the sangria

Really enjoyed our stay, location is perfect, walking distance to everything. This is were you stay to get the real feel of Santa Fe. The rooms are authentic very comfortable with patios or balconies. Breakfast and afternoon wine and Cheese are special added amenities that we really enjoyed. Next time we come back would probably choose a balcony room. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable with things to do in the area. Highly recommend.
