Nice location. "Feels like" it was converted from a previous owner. Very clean facility and pleasant staff. Parking was a bit tight.
I am a picky traveler and the staff at the Double Tree Santa Fe was great. When we first checked into our room I had issues with a wall outside of the patio and Erica fixed things immediately for us. She was cheerful and jumped right in to make our stay excellent.
For a 3 star hotel, I was really impressed. Excellent service and the room was fully equipped with more amenities than a 4.5 star hotel. I highly recommend this place.
Great place to stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. My husband forgot his toothbrush, which they provided, complimentary. The room was clean, the heat was working well (since the first snow just fell, dropping temps below freezing), and the bed was super comfortable. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. In the morning, they provided a complimentary shuttle to the airport, but since the shuttle driver was busy, they called Lyft, and paid for that as well. Just overall great customer service, and we would definitely return!
As traveling musicians it’s great to come across a hotel like The Double Tree Santa Fe on our travels. Immediately we noticed ample parking in front of the hotel and a kind staff who greeted us. The Southwestern design of the hotel is very appealing. The whole town of Santa Fe has made sure that the aesthetic roots of the area be preserved, and The Double Tree is no exception. The main lobby is very inviting with a large fireplace and high ceilings. Christmas music was playing throughout the hallways(at a very civilized volume) and I felt a welcoming sense of Christmas spirit. We ordered a pizza from room service and it arrived promptly and tasted great. We slept very well in the beds and loved the pillow selection. The hotel also has a great restaurant called Patina’s located down the hall from the lobby. The menu covers all the bases for a solid start to your day. The coffee was solid and we had oatmeal and fruit. All and all it is a great place to stay. With a location across the street from a movie theater, the mall, and many other attractions-including the famous Meow Wolf Modern Museum-this is a Hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting Santa Fe.
Rooms were nice. We reserved our room number though the Hilton Honors program in advance, however, upon arrival we were told that room was occupied and had to get a different, less desirable room. I don't think it was the staff's fault tho. Either way, everything else was fine. Good cookies.
Hotel is pretty decent. There is an issue with traffic noise late at night. I have a room away from the road and I can still hear it. But you can probably say the same with every Hotel on the street. The room is clean and the staff is nice, what else can I say?
I believe all rooms have balconies which is awesome. The decor of the building and rooms was beautiful. There is a beautiful giant fireplace in the front room of the hotel. The breakfast was great but you do have to pay for it. There is a lodge in the hotel which is pretty cool.
Beautiful hotel in a convenient place to explore Santa Fe and the surrounding area. Rooms have wheelchair accessible bathrooms. No designated parking for rooms but plenty of parking available. Free breakfast for guests. Beds are too soft for my liking but if you're into that you're fine.
Place needs to be cleaned. Plenty of dirt around and dead leaves. Doors in disrepair. The “hot tub” is a joke. The jets have broken and it just bubbles violently at the edges of the tub. Recent remodel but they didn’t do the bathrooms. They added wood crossbars to the balcony for safety, but they still have the stickers from the hardwares store. Looks like a second rate place.
Dreadful first night. The plumbing pipes rattled all night. Kept us awake. Front desk states they knew this and apparently can't repair. Won't switch us to another room. Trying to find alternate hotel.
No storage in room. No closet space. No in room safe.
Stay somewhere else.
Minor electrical fire - staff played it off as kids setting off alarm when it was an actual fire. Would much rather not have been lied to. Fire department gave us real story. Would have been 4 stars if they were honest.
Just didn't feel welcomed by staff at front desk. One lady was very nice. I wish I knew her name. But most the other staff acted like I was bothering them. Even in the bar. Not a very friendly place.
So, when you arrive they give you a cookie. And idk about you but I love nuts and chocolate and it has both. The service is awesome, they are attentive and kind. The room is beautiful, has that like cultural charm of santa Fe. Logs and stuff. The shampoo and conditioner you get smells really good and the 24 hour gym is clean and cool. I really enjoying staying here when I have to work in Santa Fe. It will always make it my first choice.
