I loved it! Very beautiful views of the ocean. Plenty to do for children and adults. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean. There was plenty of storage, microwave,, and refridgerator. Even with construction going on right outside the door you could hardly hear any thing. If you had no money at all left after paying for your hotel expenses and could only afford to stay in the room you would still be completely satisfied and happy. Bring your camera. Plenty of night life, dinning, and shopping just next door or across the street.

Heather was extremely nice and accommodating! I was staying at a hotel and decided to jump ship to the Bilmar Best decision! She worked out the accommodation for me and my Mom, and for friends coming later to join our trip!! Truely amazing customer service!!

The maintence staff here was also Great, the seal on our fridge wasn't sealing, and he came with a new in the box fridge right to the door within the hour (don't remember his name, sorry)

In general- an Amazing staff, great beachfront room-. and honestly it's just the best decision to stay here if you want a great vacation experience, and this is coming from a girl that stays frequently in 5 star resorts when I travel with my boyfriend. (This one is a family trip, so not at the luxury resort, but it sure does feel like it!) I would say so far the staff is out preforming the One and Only resort in the Bahamas. This place is a GEM, and the staff pushes it over the top to an A+

Love this place, especially the bar/restaurant. Fun place, great employees, the drinks are heavy on the alcohol yet we'll made, food is above-average for beach food. I haven't stayed at the hotel because I'm a local but it's constantly booked. They have special events all year round which I attend and are good for family fun as well as the singles I hang with. Oh, and don't forget there's a new sunset every night. ;)

We booked a week at the Bilmar months ago. When we got here it was obvious a major renovation was underway. It was Saturday so no construction was underway. But come Monday morning and every weekday morning all the work begins bright and early at 8:00 am. They are demoing the rooms above, below and next to ours. We have a poolside room, but you can't go to the pool due to all the construction noise. This is a vacation we have been waiting months for and this is what the Bilmar choose to give us. The other end of the hotel is not under construction and quiet. We asked the front desk attendant to please move us to the other end of the hotel, where we should have been given a room and she just says, "Sorry, but don't forget our free cookies". We love Treasure Island and have come here for decades, but we will never come back to the Bilmar and recommend you don't either. If you need a hard hat you shouldn't be here.

Excellent location, right in the middle of everything. Rooms were recently remodeled, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a beach walk out room and the beach was amazing as well. Absolutely zero complaints and I would strongly recommend this hotel. Thank you Bilmar, you certainly made my wife and I very pleased for our anniversary. 👍👍👍

Great views, excellent atmosphere. Waiter was a little slow for how few people were there but not too bad. Food was pretty good. Supreme nachos were great, surf and turf burger was good.

The hotel is an older one, and we stayed in the tower which is newer, but it is well maintained and clean. There were employees constantly cleaning, sweeping and attending to our needs. The room was large and had a mini kitchenette. The only down side, besides only getting to stay one night.. was the tall lip on the bottom rail of the siding balcony door. OUCH! Kicked that a few times going in and out! There are two pools and a hot tub at one. They were both clean and very well maintained. We had breakfast at the restaurant the morning we left and it was great along with the service. We will be back!

Great resort. It has a beautiful beach with fantastic sunsets. The rooms where very clean. They have a nice cafe down stairs with indoor and outdoor dining. They have many other activities such as bicycles, kayaks, volleyball, corn hole, and two pools. And free coffee in the morning. They have the Friendliest staff ever. The only issues we had was the air conditioning in the rooms was not perfect. The room stayed at 75 degrees which was fine, but I wish it was colder. And the ice machines broke down while staying. If you wanted ice you had to go across the whole resort and into a different building. The ice would be almost melted by the time you would get back. Over all I would recommend 10/10.

Very nice Hotel, yet staff was not so great. First off the reservations were not right. The person who took our reservations put us in for July not June so after driving 11 hours we had to take what we could get. 2,500 $ and we couldn't have an ocean front balcony which is the whole reason we booked here The staff was rude and short for the amount we spent for a 10 day stay. NOT WORTH it AT ALL I've had better service with Motel 6 then at this place! Was very disappointed 🤐 We thought because of the price we would have top of the line Not at all Next time will be somewhere else for sure! Over priced and underserved!!

We stayed at the Bilmar with a vacation package through BlueGreen Vacations.

Our stay was very enjoyable! The view from our room was spectacular, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurants were great!

I would go back, and recommend it to anyone!

We were there for drinks at the bar during sunset. We've been going here my entire life, and my parents have gone there as long as we can remember. Parking can be a pain during the busy season, but worth it. Treasure Island is one of the prettiest beaches around, though it's a bit of a walk to the water for those who don't know what to expect. The drinks and food are typical beach fare at beach prices. Food is decent, drinks are tasty. We've stayed in the hotel several times in the past. Rooms are great, pools are great. The one near Sloppy Joes is a bit quieter, for those who don't like a ton of people or poolside shenanigans.

Did not stay at the resort, but went to the Sloppy Joe's located here. The shrimp tacos were tasty, but maybe a little too pricey. My wife and I shared a fishbowl margarita and it was very tasty and was a good value. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The view of the shore was very pretty and the atmosphere was relaxing. Overall I recommend the restaurant if you're looking for somewhere a little more premium to eat while you're still wearing your flip flops.

Very clean and tidy place. Met an old friend here at Sloppy Joe's restaurant, located on the South end of the resort. The service and staff were top notch. The lower deck of the restaurant is practically on the beach too. Access to the beach, Gulf waters is convenient and pleasant. Very relaxing experience overall
