Nice atmosphere. Service could be more friendly. No breakfast but beside is a very cool restaurant.

Fantastic little hotel in perfect location. Very clean rooms and really comfy beds. Valet parking is 22USD, but you can find street parking. Swingers on the corner is really convenient and very good food. Not even 10min walking to the farmers market and the Grove. Great value for money.

Perfectly located hotel for LA. Right near the major bus routes so easy to get around if you don't have a car. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and there's a great old school American diner right next to the hotel that you'll spend a lot of time at.
Rooms have a really funky vibe and are nice, clean and quite modern

Horrible customer service, double booked me, charged me twice, offered me a refund on one of the rooms they charged me for by accident and now they haven't responded to a single email of mine over the last 6 weeks except to tell me they don't remember. Not worth the stay, they will rip you off.

Great motel. Funky/trendy Mid-Century style decor and exterior. Twin room was comfortable with a spacious bathroom and well decorated. Heating worked well and big TV had plenty of channels. Missed having a kettle/crockery for tea and coffee but as expected for a motel. Staff were friendly. Pool area looked great and had a really cool vibe, although we didn’t use it due to cold weather. Swingers diner next door was great, we went several times. Big menu and really good gluten free options! Location was perfect for us with lots of food/shopping within walking distance. Bus routes also nearby. Would stay here again!

We stayed here for a night when we were driving up to catch a late Saturday show. Booked a room with a round bed, coolest room I've ever stayed in. Right behind the sign too so the lights looked crazy at night. There's super thick curtains to cover it up though so it was never a problem when sleeping.

Comfortable and quiet for LA. A higher rating would have been earned if parking didn't require valet service. All part of the LA experience.

Always a pleasure staying this retro style hotel! The staff are the nicest, and the rooms have great character. The first time I stayed here, I got the corner suite which is located behind the hotel's signature neon sign. What a memorable stay!

A lot closer to Beverly and Chinese theater than we thought it'd be. Retro style is done excellently, rooms are very nice indeed. The cafe attached which seems to never be shut is friendly and good quality. The staff at the hotel itself are also very friendly. Pool shuts far too early and should be heated as it doesn't get much sunlight. Not many bars/restaurants really close
