We had a great stay, hotel was fine, wife said the spa was great, golf was very nice and the views from the restaurant was awesome. Speaking of the restaurant though the food needs to be improved. It's a shame cause the restaurant itself is great but they really need to step up the quality, it's a small dinner menu so it shouldn't be that hard to step it up for the prices they charge.

A great place to stay in Borrego Springs! I had a great view of the desert, palms and mountains from my patio. The room was clean and really comfortable, the shower was roomy and had great pressure. Really nice people working the front desk. The pool looked awesome with plenty of loynge chairs. I enjoyed eating breakfast over looking the golf course and mountains. Really enjoyable visit, I'll certainly be back!

We stayed one night and day here and it was a great experience. Staff was kind and helpful, room was clean, bed was comfortable, pool and jacuzzi were great, parking was free and convenient. We will definitely be back.

Clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. It was a great place to overnight while exploring Anza-borrego.

The Borrego Hotel and Spa is indeed an Oasis in the desert. If you're in the Salton Sea area it's only 25 miles to the West and it's worth the drive. Located in the Anza-Borrego Desert (about 2 hours from San Diego) the resort sits at the base of the mountains in Borrego Springs. They offer first-class amenities and the staff is ready and willing to make your stay pleasurable and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and the grounds are immaculate.

What a great place to get away. The rooms plus accommodations with the resort are awesome for the price! I come out here from Carlsbad with my son to get away and enjoy the desert sun! My first review on a hotel witch says a lot! The review from that ex massage employee is bogus. No rats anywhere! Super clean and nice all around!

The room was cooled before we arrived, which was very considerate considering the temperatures. The room was nice, but did have a unique odor. No major issues, but I think it could have just been a little better experience due to noise from the stairs and neighbors.

Beautiful scenery, great and clean rooms! Went for one night to do some astrophotography and it was a great place to relax before and after our late night photo sessions.

We will definitely be back! We rented a deluxe king suite, for the price what we got was very reasonable. The place was clean with plenty of room, and the AC units (we had one in the main room and one in our bedroom) kept the place cool even through the hot desert heat. The swimming pool was also pleasant and the restaurant a nice little treat with great views.

Last piece of Americana here. Been travelling US for 25 years and I lived this place. A bit dated style wise, but all looked new. Spacious, clean, room price includes bikes, tennis, pool, etc. Balcony, not a lot more I could have asked for. PS avoid the next door restaurant, it's overpriced and sucks. This is in my top ten US hotels! Staff were great too.

Great sized room. A little difficult to get the temperature right because too warm without the A/c but running A/c made it a little cold. Nice pool. A couple of the lounge covers had been torn off so not a lot of shade. Ice machine was far from the room. Weird cart was left locked in the hall outside our room.

I really enjoyed my one night stay. It was just right for a mid week break. Beautiful scenery, pleasant day, slightly cool night. Middle of February is a great time to visit. The resort was very quiet, both inside and for the location. I didn't really hear the people around me at all - small noises, enough to know someone else was there, but no more. Nice room. Blues and greens for the decor. Comfortable bed, very cushiony pillows. Extra blanket in the closet, along with a robe, iron, and ironing board. Hair dryer was provided on the bathroom counter, along with some grapefruit scented toiletries (they smell delicious). Small sofa and table with two comfortable chairs for inside seating. The sliding glass door led to a small patio with table and two chairs, just right for morning coffee, or a drink while you watch the stars. There is coffee and ice water in the lobby, in case you go through the in-room coffee and water bottles too quickly. Plenty of parking all around the buildings, and well maintained landscaping in keeping with the location.
